Property was nice.
Could not check in early. We needed to be somewhere by 2 and could not just check in ( didn’t need to drop off things). Then they called us about whether we were coming to the hotel. No elevator. I guess you don’t have little shampoo for your guests and coffee in the rooms anymore. That part is sad.
nothing
No hair dryer no shampoo no tv that worked
We liked that it was close to the airport but given that there are other hotels near this Motel 6 we would never stay here again.
The area was fine until we arrived at the Motel 6 itself. There were alot of seedy unsavory looking people wondering about. After we checked in we noticed there was a police car there attending to some situation. On the way to our room there was a man acting strangely in the hallway. There was also alot of dried up vomit in the upper walk way on the second floor near our room. We got inside our room and it was immediately clear that the room was barely put together. The beds were made but the floor was filthy like it hadn't been mopped or swept/vaccumed in some time. The room stank heavily of cigarettes and looked NOTHING like any of the photos provided on Booking.com or Motle 6. com. The floor vinyl floor was cracked in many places and the all of the light fixtures in the room were askew. The bathroom was dirty. It smelled extremly strong of urine. There wasnt any part of the bathroom that was clean. Not the shower, toilet or vanity. The only reason we stuck it out and stayed until 6am was because it was late when we checked in (10pm) and we had our two small children with us who were exhausted. It was scary to have them in this enviornment and if we had the means to leave we would have.
Umm is ok
Check in was weird. In line to check in around 8:30 pm and asked to leave the front desk area so the clerk could lock the door. Then we checked in via a pass through window. No actuallobby
Room 223 - mold on the AC unit and its cord
Fir a motel 6 it was rather nice and clean
Our uhaul was broken into during the night.
They say the area is generally safe but you do want to
make sure you park your uhaul in a nice, well lit area...
Staff was efficient and courteous
Bed was comfortable
The shower
Hand held allows better rinsing
I liked....that it was near the graduation ceremony. The staff was as helpful as they could be, but their hands are tied by poor mis-management at the corporate level. No wonder Tom Boudett sued them!
Arrived, only to be told our reservation for two rooms had been cancelled because "we tried to charge your card and it didn't come across - and it's company policy to cancel". No call, no email. So now, at 7pm the night before our oldest's graduation, I'm faced with no reserved rooms. Conveniently they could reserve me three rooms (because now they couldn't give us a double for our two kids) at their rate - $700 more than I paid through booking.com! Now, I'm out $700 more than what my quote was originally priced at! Booking.com "couldn't do anything as its the franchise's policy" and the help couldn't either. Spoke to the manager the next day and between Booking.com and Motel 6, they refunded $444 of the $700 I was over-charged. (also, lesson learned - ALWAYS choose the prepay option so they won't try this "your card didn't respond to a charge 24-48 hours before your stay!" fiasco/scam).
Now, the rooms however really need some help - TV that wouldn't connect, missing pillow cases, broken fan switch on AC, sink that wouldn't drain....really shows this new company (OJO) really is just sucking the profits out as much as possible.
I feel incredibly bad for the people that work there and are having to constantly apologize to people as they come through.
The room was clean. There was a small fridge and microwave. Nothing of a surprise, a nice standard room. I loved the price for a nice basic room. The bathroom was decent as well and the staff gave me extra towels and soap when requested.
Check in was easy
Requested a bottom floor was put on second floor. The property was not clean and don't know why there was a pop up in parking spots people cooking out of the back of vehicles bunch of young adults hanging behind dumpsters. Trashed were over flowing with trash on ground. Room smelt like it was a smoke room
There was a car parked in the handicap space that I could tell it hadn't been moved in quite some time, it had a couple of flat tires and I could have used that space, also the back door was broken and didn't work with the card, so we had to walk around to the front door, that is a 86year old lady and my wife, who is handicapped, had to go clear to the front door to
