Location and comfortable stay

The view from the hotel was spectacular.The hotel was very elegant and it had a fantastic spa .The hotel would be perfect for a big event with a fantastic wooden floor perfect for dancing .
The buffet for the cooked breakfast could have been warmer .It was obviously cooked first thing and as the hotel was not very busy during my visit the cooked food was a bit dry . There was a very good selection of cereals and fresh fruit though . The staff made fresh pots of tea or coffee which was very nice .

We both agreed that the hotel was in the perfect location with a sea view.
The hotel staff were so thoughtful and made our stay extremely comfortable.

The room equipment was dated and the bathroom is ready for a makeover.
Lovely location and the team are very accommodating, our second stay at the Atlantic as we much prefer it to the Headland.
We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room is starting to show it's in need of updating. Flaking paint, grouting and sealer mould, bathroom blinds that don't work. The new owners have some work to do and I'm sure they will get there.
Staff were amazing and the location is fantastic overlooking the Atlantic whilst having your breakfast . Close to the beach and town but the slope up to the hotel is a bit of a killer after a long walk.

The view was fantastic and the room was fine, apart from being a little tired (needed a lick of paint and a new coffee table). The staff were exceptional on reception and in the restaurants for dinner and breakfast. The restaurant food was very good. The location is unbeatable. Overall excellent value for money.
I’ve tried many hotel over the years coming to Newquay. I always request a room with a sea view. The Atlantic was excellent. This will now be my go to hotel.

Lovely view in daylight of the sea, but when dark no view, but other rooms would have had a view of the harbour and town lit up.

Great location for walks or eating/drinking out. Pool and sauna a nice extra.
Some upper room windows do not seal and winds are strong.
Spa and staff attendance
Stunning location with fantastic sea views, minutes walk into Newquay harbour. We had a big room with a balcony and sea views. Breakfast was top notch, and again fantastic view while eating it. Spa area was quiet, it was just us, again stunning views - nice pool and jacuzzi. Our dog was so well received too, just as welcome as us. Staff were super helpful and friendly at all times.
It was pretty perfect tbh! Bed could have been a little firmer.
Such a lovely hotel. We had dinner in Silks, their restaurant. Absolutely amazing food!!! Breakfast was so good. Buffet style.

Excellent location and you do feel like you're walking into a Hollywood castle as the foyer floor is so beautiful... starlight black and white quartz and a heavy wood reception. Gorgeous. The dining room and breakfast rooms are fabulous. Chandeliers in my bedroom which also had a wonderful sea view. Large bathroom, new shower plus a scroll top bath to relax in whilst nibbling locally produced chocolates. Bliss. Room/suite 212 since you ask.
Breakfast and dinner options marvellous. Best of all, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and utterly charming.
The lounge but its getting new chairs and sofas soon. I have no doubt it will be stunning. I'm going back.
The location and view
I booked king size room but it was two small (single) beds put together with separate single mattresses which was really uncomfortable to sleep. There was also no room service
