Location, restaurants. Inside the decor etc was lovely.
Pets in rooms. Bedroom had damp patches, fan didn’t work in bathroom, no storage in bathroom.
Location was excellent, amazing views from the room, the room was recently refurbished and very clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely too,
Staff were very welcoming and helpful, nice to use the spa and pool as complimentary.
Later than expected check in, they were very short staffed and in the middle of a refurbishment

Location was perfect. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Peace and quiet and lovely balcony views.
Bed lacked comfort dip in middle, pillows terrible and bed short length. Too long a wait for meals in restaurant.

The location and breakfast
There was no aircon in rooms and fans were in very short supply which made the rooms very uncomfortable to stay in especially with the weather being 25degress +. Had to ask 3times for a fan for my 80yr mother as her room was unbearable. Disabled access room and the bathroom windows were locked and as the bathroom floods when having a shower, had to use a lot of towels to soak up the water so my mum wouldn’t slip. Told by staff that it’s supposed to drain that way…..
Everything., was wonderful, food was good, room and view were stunning. Wish I could have brought the bed home with me it was so comfortable and the staff were amazingly kind and helpful.

The location of the hotel is great near to town, the harbourside and all the beaches. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa pool and hot tub are lovely and the outside terrace and deckchairs on the grass. Breakfast was nice. The view from the balcony was great (if you stood up). And the bathroom was massive. We stayed an extra night!
My only moan was the filthy glass on the balcony which meant sitting down you could hardly see through it. I asked to have it cleaned but no action. Was tempted to go and borrow a cloth and spray from house keeping! Same was true of the glass on the ceiling of the bathroom and in the breakfast room. Shame, but not the end of the world.
Great view from our room, the food was very good and the staff were friendly.
The fire door was very noisy when being used, first floor adjacent to the lift, it slammed shut with a bang which was annoying in the morning.

Ein altehrwürdiges renoviertes Hotel mit genialer Aussicht, nur paar Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand und Zentrum entfernt. Wellnessbereich mit Whirlpool und Sauna. Leckeres Frühstück. Großzügiges Zimmer.
The room was excellent because of the view of the Atlantic Ocean. The facilities were good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and the view of the Atlantic Ocean from our table was brilliant.
The carpark was tight and not big enough for such a big hotel. The decor in the entrance lobby area is out of synch with the style and era of the hotel.

It’s in dire need of a renovation. The rooms are dated but I understand there are new owners and time is needed to get the place up to scratch.

Room was strange configuration. Bed in a dark alcove area with very little ventilation.
