Overall a very nice property
Pros:

I purchased the prepaid breakfast package and it seemed like none of the employees had ever heard of it

Cons:

Some newer employees were sort of lost in their responsibilities

Loved my room and the location, the staff was lovely too.
Pros:

The Room was amazing, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was large and actually fit both of our things. The location was so nice because it was on the main street, but far enough down that it wasn't in the middle of everything. Check-in was so easy, it was SO nice to just hand them my ID and get my room key with no fuss at the end of a very long day of driving.

Cons:

I wish there were 2 valet's on duty, the one guy was overwhelmed when I wanted to leave and an elderly couple arrived needing help with bags.
Also the water in the shower never got hot, just lukewarm.

Amazing stay in a wonderful town

Air conditioning not working. Room was 80 degrees and stuffy. Bathroom tub shower had cracks and damage. Tv reception was poor. Valet 45 dollars. Paid almost $450 for one night and did not sleep well at all.

Nice location but tiny pool and not very kind housekeeping staff.
Pros:

Great location, can’t fault that.

Cons:

It was weird, there were always 3 house keeping carts on the floor at anyone time and the housekeeping staff were kinda pushy with their carts in the elevator, it seems like you’re in their way of you want to use the elevator when they’re moving between floors with their carts. They also try and squeeze into the elevators even when there’s not really the room.

Pros:

Very pretty and spacious

Cons:

More restaurants and shops within walking distance would have been nice. And the view was not "really" waterfront. But, across from the water. Still, very nice.

Good hotel let down by lack of restaurant facilities for breakfast or anything else.
Pros:

Rooms and location good.

Cons:

Breakfast and service was poor. Seemed understaffed and offering was generally poor for a chain hotel. There was one guy behind counter who seemed to be working at 200%. When he was not there, it was like 20%. Serving staff not responsible for the poor food offering though. We were staying on business and did not have time to go looking for something else in the morning but in hindsight, we'd have been better to get up earlier and find another place...or stay at a different hotel.

not a great nights sleep on a sofa bed when you were expecting 2 kings
Cons:

When I book a room with two king size beds that is what I expect when I check in. Not to arrive and say oh, we accidentally overbooked and that room type is not available; we have a single king with sofa bed is unacceptable. When hotels start being like airlines and overbooking it is very frustrating. I expect what I reserve to be available.

Definitely a good hotel to stay in Portland, for families or people travelling on business.
Pros:

The hotel is very clean and feels new. The rooms are spacious and the two king beds were great. The gym was nice as well, and so were the lobby areas as they had plenty of space to relax or even work (if it was a business trip). The hotel was well located, near a lot of restaurants. And actually, the Canopy hotel which is next door has a great place for breakfast. Also the rate we paid was great for the quality of the hotel.

Cons:

I would have loved for the hotel to have had parking, as I am not a fan of paying $40 for valet parking. My daughter was super anxious to use the pool but unfortunately it was under maintenance. The view was not great as it is next to the port...so not much to see.
