I would give this place zero stars if I could.

We arrived for an early check-in and were assigned a room that had clearly not been cleaned. There was trash throughout the room, dirty towels scattered around, and the beds had not been changed—they still looked like someone had just slept in them.

We brought it to management’s attention, left for a while, and returned expecting the issue to be resolved. Unfortunately, very little had changed. The dirty towels had been replaced, and the beds were hastily made, but the trash was still in the room. There were also no washcloths and no toilet paper.

The problems didn’t stop there. Every time we needed something, whether it was basic supplies or assistance, we had to hunt down an employee because no one was readily available.

The biggest frustration was the room key. Every single time we returned to our room, the key card had stopped working. We repeatedly had to find an employee just to get another key made. By the time we checked out, we had accumulated five different key cards for the same room.

This was by far one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we’ve had. Cleanliness, customer service, and basic convenience were all lacking.

If you’re traveling to Destin, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else and avoiding this property.

The location and staff were very great !

Cons:

The room wasn’t “dirty” but the floors definitely weren’t cleaned and the room wasn’t stocked with necessities, we had to go ask for towels and toilet paper etc.
