Was a nice stay with a few minor touches could be great. Beds were really comfy, nice quite location. very back corner of village.
There is no mini fridge in the room which makes it very hard if you have any form of food allergy. the shared lounge area is locked up until 7:45 in the morning so wasn't able to get up and use it in the morning. Breakfast there were boiled eggs but only if you were the first one to the bowl. The staff limited it to 5 eggs out each time and only topped up the bowl every 30mins, so 20 people in the room you had to be lucky to get an egg. Only supplied full cream milk no alternative and no way to store any milk in your room.
Zack, the English gentleman at Reception, was very accommodating, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He was definitely a highlight of the experience.
Unfortunately, I found the property very overpriced for the overall experience and facilities provided. The carpet in our room was visibly dirty, the window handle was broken, and there was no mini fridge in the room. Despite staying for three nights, our room was not cleaned during our stay.
For the price point, I expected a significantly higher standard of facilities, cleanliness and service. Overall, the property felt quite average and did not provide the level of experience I would expect given the cost of accommodation at Mount Buller.
They don’t have proper breakfast and we have to pay even for the coffee. This is unacceptable
We didn’t like anything about the accommodation. Not value for money at all. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone, below expectation for the price.
Very small room, breakfast extremely limited. They don’t cater for the amount of people. Some days even butter were not provided which is bare minimum.
Good location and the free breakfast is nice
Room a little small and old
I liked the private balcony.
The breakfast was hardly a breakfast, only choice of eggs was hard boiled, had minimal variety and made to feel stupid when asking for anything.
The location is absolutely not ski in and ski out, it is a significant walk and not so fun after a long day.
Nothing
Dull, bad staff, bad to pretty much no service, bad food, bad communication, everything was shit
