Had a very comfortable relaxing and peaceful 2 day stay.
Pros:

The garden room was bright, airy, clean and peaceful. The views were lovely over looking the garden and hills in the distance. The staff were on hand and were very helpful, polite and friendly, they were approachable and very accommodating.
The spa was very relaxing, peaceful, quiet and not busy. The breakfast was good, had a extensive menu for all tastes. Very peaceful calm environment and the manor building and grounds were all in keeping with the charm of the old building. Garden and hanging baskets were well maintained.

Cons:

I can,t think of anything I disliked.

Brought back some happy memories- will try not to leave it 30 years!
Pros:

We stayed here 30 years ago for our honeymoon and decided to visit again for our anniversary. The reception staff were welcoming and there was a lovely feel to the hotel. A little worried about being on the top floor in the roof with the heat but the room was pleasant and we were able to leave the window open all night. The breakfasts were good quality and cooked to order. We enjoyed dinner on both nights and the food was very good. Pleasant sitting spaces in the lounge and conservatory with stunning views.

Cons:

The bathroom felt a little tired - chips out of the bath enamel, dripping tap.

Very comfortable and friendly, professional staff
Pros:

Very comfortable.

Cons:

Excellent breakfasts. I had a very good dinner but my wife’s was not so good. Pate very soft (it was a very hot day) and the main course was missing some ingredients. Having said that, the staff responded to our comments really well and the issue was dealt with promptly and appropriately.

Nice but could have been so much better.
Pros:

Lovely location and building some staff warm and welcoming.

Cons:

They had not given thought to how to keep place cool and we had to ask for fan provided reluctantly. Very different from cheaper hotel staying in in Sheffield.
Menu was really not a summer menu so another sign not really thought through and as it had a spa did not seem to cater for those people. But Staff started packing up breakfast before we had finished without asking us if we needed anything more.
My wife thought decor a bit tired.

I pleasant place for a short break.
Pros:

The evening dinner was exceptional.
The bath and shower had oodles of hot water.
The sitting room was quirky.
Staff were lovely.

Cons:

Plastic flowers !!! It really is a no-no.
The gardens could be so much more.
The bed wasnt comfy.
Our room was next to a busy main rd (A66).
