Если без «нежелательных соседей», то было было бы хорошо.
Pros:

Достаточно просторные комнаты и душевая для Сингапура, постель белоснежная, окна открываются по просьбе, скоростной интернет. Великолепное расположение, через дорогу куча мест, где вкусно готовят. 36 автобус действительно останавливается прям перед отелем, где принимают оплату картой (!), только убедитесь в расписании, если позднее прибытие. В 30 минут marine bay, хорошая прогулка, когда не было ни жары, ни влажности. В 40 минутах China town, тоже можно погулять, цены чуть дешевле на кухню, чисто атмосферу почувствовать.

Cons:

Единственное, что испортило пребывание - тараканы. Огромного убила в выдвижном ящике, к сожалению, видео не прикладывается, остальных на столе.

Fantastic location. Value for money.
Pros:

Location is fantastic. So value for money due to location is very high. The hotel rooms are decent sized for Singapore. Beds were super comfy.

Cons:

Hotel is old and dated. Could use a bit of a refurbishment.

Acceptable for one or two nights, not the best option for longer stay
Pros:

I will try to make a fair review on things I liked and I disliked. First, the room and beds are clean and comfy. So was the bathroom. Another positive thing that I liked about the hotel is being quite close to a metro station. It's basically 250 meters to reach the Bencoolen metro and bus stations, connecting you to the main places. Staff was kind. I would say overnight it was calm. Another great thing was that even if you show up late for breakfast (beyond the limit serving time), the Y cafe staff can provide it to you.

Cons:

Many things were quite disappointing and upsetting. First, any hotel, even being a 3-star one, must offer slippers to customers. Even the cheapest on the market would not be costly from a hotel budget point of view. Second, the corridors had a bit of a strange smell (luckily, the smell wasn't in the room). Also, one main disappointing thing is that room service was provided only twice a week. This was quite upsetting as the room may become dirty and messy in 3-4 days till next room service. Also, another disappointing thing was the absence of a trash bin in the room. This lets you basically go and find a plastic bag to put your trash in. These basic things MUST be in any hotel. Lastly, it was disappointing not to find bottles of water offered in the room. Also, the breakfast menu was quite disappointing and limited. The 5-6 breakfast combos include 1 hot drink + 1 hash browns (common items) , and the sandwiches looked similar among the 6 options, where customers with vegetarian/Halal requirements will be forced to take the same sandwich every day. One last thing is that Wi-Fi was really unstable most of the time.

For the amount paid over my stay, I find that the fact that the above things were flagged is very disappointing and MUST really not be.
