Central location, clean and the breakfast was lovely
This was my second stay at the Kingston Theatre Hotel whilst appearing at the theatre in Hull, and once again it was absolutely wonderful. It really is such a lovely, friendly hotel with a warm, family-run feel.
My room was beautiful, the food was amazing, and every member of staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. There’s such a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel and you really feel looked after from the moment you arrive.
Whenever I’m in Hull, this will always be my first choice of hotel. Lovely, friendly and absolutely fabulous — I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The room was very nice and clean and well appointed. The shower was the best ever and I appreciated the rubber mat to stop me slipping. The restaurant looked very new and recently decorated and there was an excellent choice of hot and cold food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area felt very safe and there was a beautiful Catholic Church nearby that has an amazing choir on Sunday and would be worth a visit on any day.
We liked it all. I can't think of anything negative to say, maybe that's it's a bit of a walk from the main attractions but that was good after a nice meal.
Really nice property in the middle of the city. Only stayed one night but it was a very comfortable stay. Victorian style room, very clean with a big bathroom. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The free parking was also a plus for us. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
