The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. My room had a small balcony which I enjoyed and the shower was great. I was able to leave my bag there for a few hours after checking out which was very much appreciated.
It's a little noisy and the light coming in under and around the door at night was annoying. The noise issue can be partly overcome by the air conditioner.
No puedo recomendar para nada este hotel. Tuvimos una mala experiencia en Brisbane con este hotel, que no es para nada barato…
Este hotel, que en teoría es de 3*, no tiene ascensor. Nosotros tuvimos 2 reservas para 2 habitaciones y las 2 nos las dieron en la planta 3. Imagínense subir las maletas para 4 personas, sin ascensor y luego también bajarlas, qué alegría…
Luego, las humedades que habían en los baños de las 2 habitaciones… pues si en el tercer piso habían esas humedades, en la planta baja o en la primera, ni me quiero imaginar…
Y al hacer el checking, piden tarjeta de crédito física para escanearla, como garantía… Qué se piensan, que les vas a quitar las humedades de las paredes??

Bed needs a topper and pillows need upgrading for comfort.
Convenient to the bus and train, clean and comfortable bed.
The restaurant was not operating. No lift, having to drag suitcases up and down stairs, not easy for us elderly women.

Great access to trains and an experience of Brisbane’s heritage, Roma St Parklands and Albert park’s green spaces.
Great hotel for the price. Has the free number 30 bus stop out the front. Roma St train station a short walk. I would definitely stay here again.
No elevator. But it was good exercise. 🤣
Close to the CBD but at the top of a very steep hill. A mixed area with police activity around the park. The staff were lovely and helpful. Doing their best to clean very old rooms. The Mercure next door serves breakfast.
More like a Motel. Very small, basic and tired. Original fitting, cracked sinks, rusty windows, stained bedding. The staff began flipping rooms at 8am even though checkout was 11am, which woke everyone with banging and vacuuming on a Sunday. Tiny rooms, tiny corridor with no soundproofing. The long life milk capsules in the room were curdled. The Aircon unit in the room is very old and so loud you can’t keep in on overnight. Overall an ok stay but definitely not a Hotel standard experience.
It’s close to the specialist that we need to see and not far to the city as well.
The decors is a bit old.
