We did not make complaints for no reason. If everything had been working properly, we would have enjoyed our vacation instead of spending time contacting the host multiple times.

The air conditioner was one of the biggest issues. Vietnam is very hot, and the AC was inconsistent throughout our stay. Sometimes it would cool for a while, then stop cooling, leaving the apartment warm and uncomfortable. It seemed the settings were controlled remotely rather than by the in-room remote. After we reported the issue, the host said the settings had been updated, but the problem continued on and off for the rest of our stay.

The bathroom sink was also clogged. Although we were told it had been fixed, it continued to drain very slowly throughout our stay.

The apartment was outdated and not well maintained. Several floor tiles were lifting due to water damage, and there was visible mold around the air conditioner and the door, along with a musty smell. Traveling with two children, this made our stay very uncomfortable.

During the last two days of our stay, we were moved to another apartment managed by the same host because our original unit had already been booked for the next guests. We were told it would be a better apartment, but the second unit had many of the same issues, including visible mold, a musty smell, and an air conditioner that also cooled inconsistently. Our concern was never the noise—it was the condition of the apartment.

The host did offer to let us leave, but this was only on the last day of our stay. By then, packing up and relocating with two children for one remaining day was simply too much of a hassle, so we had no practical choice but to make the best of the situation.

The apartment initially included eight towels for four people. We needed additional towels during our nine-day stay, and while the host did provide them, there was an additional charge.

The positives were that the host was responsive when we reported the issues, and the ocean view was beautiful.

Unfortunately, the condition of both apartments did not match the listing photos or our expectations. Based on our experience staying in two different apartments managed by the same host, I would not stay here again or recommend this property to families looking for a clean, well-maintained place with reliable air conditioning.

A La Carte Da Nang Beach was one of the highlights of our trip to Da Nang. The location could not be better, with the beach directly across the road and plenty of places nearby to explore. The hotel felt luxurious and stylish, especially considering the very reasonable price. Our room was spacious enough for three people, and the staff arranged an extra bed without making it feel crowded. Breakfast was included and offered a wide selection of international and local dishes. The Vietnamese options were very unique and easily our favorite part of the buffet. We did not get a chance to visit the bar, but the infinity pool was amzing, with a beautiful view over the beach and city. Service was friendly throughout our stay, and everything felt clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang.

Location is great, beach is right across the hotel. Felt like a very high end hotel for a very reasonable price. Rooms are very big, they accommodate an extra bed for 3 people in one room. Breakfast was included and it had a variety of cuisine, definitely recommend eating the Vietnamese they served. Didn’t try out the bar, but the infinity pool view was amazing. Loved it!

The staff members were nice, the room was clean and I liked the interiors. I could also had a beach view room, which was my favorite.

Great size rooms, amazing staff and right on the beach!

Beautiful location, right opposite the beach. Staff were so helpful for our first visit to Vietnam and all aspects of the hotel amenities were cool, calm and clean. I had an amazing massage at their Spice Spa, followed by cocktails up on the roof top bar. Great going out options across at the beach, you can party or relax - take your pick.

It's close to Makevich, it's located really well, and the service is friendly

We enjoyed the location, close to everything and directly across from the beach. Massive, clean suites with stunning beach views. The rooftop pool was blissful. Staff were incredibly kind. A la carte made our stay in Da Nang special and we cannot wait to return.
