Disappointing

Although beautiful to look at and with a comfortable bed it was all style over substance.

The only full length mirror was inside a wardrobe in a part of the room with no lighting.

The only lamp next to a chair was plugged in to a socket that didn't work.

It was apparent that there was only one iron and one tiny ironing board in the whole place. This resulted in us going out one evening in un ironed clothes because the staff said the iron was in another guests room and they couldn't go and get it because the guest was out. They then claimed the same thing the following morning when we still hadn't received the iron for our use. Quite frankly this was ridiculous and unacceptable. For the price of the room there should be an iron in each one - in the UK the cheapest hotel rooms all have irons and full sized ironing boards. It was a dreadful experience.

Heerlijk rustige kamer op top locatie
Pros:

Grote ruime, propere kamer. Super mooie schilderijen, je voelt je meteen in de Florentijnse sfeer komen. Behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt erg goed voor maar 3€ pp.
De kamer is tegenover de receptie dus soms hoor je wel mensen praten, maar niet erger dan wat je in elk ander hotel hoort op de gang. Er zijn ook maar 8 kamers in totaal. We vonden het er super rustig, ondanks dat je eigenlijk in een bruisende buurt verblijft. Je hoort helemaal niets van de straat. Top locatie. Niets op aan te merken!

Wonderful family stay in the heart of Florence
Pros:

Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city, a hop away from all the great sights. We spent time observing the Renaissance style ceiling in our room and the girls loved it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival time.

Cons:

Breakfast was not buffet style but instead served, and while the pastries were delicious, there were no savory options.
