Pros:

Der Innenhof lädt zum Verweilen ein. Außerdem gibt es einen ziemlich großen Pool (allerdings im Innenbereich). Auch das Wasser im Pool ist angenehm warm. Das Frühstück ist super lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und reagiert schnell auf Anfragen und Wünsche. Ein unschlagbares Argument war für uns ein kostenloser Parkplatz.

Cons:

Die Armaturen im Bad haben ein bisschen getropft.

Lovely hotel, good value.
Pros:

Absolutely wonderful staff. Very helpful and kind. Everything clean and tidy, breakfast great and on time. Clear about allergy lists on foods. Bedrooms nicely made up. Good water pressure in shower too.

Cons:

Building is old, but they’ve done their best to keep it tidied up.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. They moved us straight away when they saw that I had a stick. The room had lots of space and little touches, like packets of biscuits and toiletries in the bathroom. Our room and the hotel was clean

Cons:

The hotel, our room and the facilities were run down. Our bathroom door didnt even shut and lots of areas looked shabby and broken. The pool area was disappointing. Whilst the pool was lovely and clean, the edges of the pool and the walking areas again were run down and damaged. The sauna wasnt working and the changing room light didnt work, so we either had to get changed in the dark or keep the door open. There were no facilities onsite to get anything to eat in the evening. Breakfast wasnt ready when we came down to eat. Lots of cold choice but half the hot food hadnt finished cooking and we didnt have time to wait for it as we had an early appointment. My overview is that the hotel had recently changed hands and a small number of staff were trying to do everything, from reception to cooking to opening the pool to the cleaning. The hotel needs a lot of modernising but when it is, with the little finishing touches that they have already put in place, it will hopefully be lovely. Keep going and good luck with it.

Pros:

I liked the welcoming attitude of the reception staff, the pool lived up to my expectations and they have a really nice garden with a cross range of furniture to aid a relaxing experience when using the facilities of the hotel.
I would definitely stay there again if I visit Canterbury.

Cons:

I would have felt easier on arrival if I could have reserved a parking space at the venue for the period of my stay, but the policy is first come first served basis.

Ideal reservation
Pros:

It’s location was perfect 👌walking distance to main areas
staff very helpful good breakfast 🥞
also which was very important to us was the car parking ,which was locked at night the security of our car was a priority
Would not have a problem staying here again
