Great location on a quiet street
Pros:

Great Location right by the Duomo and the Via Etnea. We were there for one night before our early flight out of Catania. Staff was excellent and very helpful with an airport shuttle. The room had a small balcony overlooking a nice street with many restaurants.

Cons:

Nothing. it was fine for the night.

Pros:

Endlich ein gutes Frühstück für Mitteleuropäer! Obst, Joghurt, Auswahl an Brot, die leckere Pistaziencreme, Eier, alles was das Herz begehrt! Das Zimmer war extraruhig, bes. für Catania ein Luxus. Gastgeber könnte nicht freundlicher oder zuvorkommender sein! Lage perfekt: 2 min zu den zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten, 10min zum Bahnhof, 2 min zu diversen Buslinien. Ich hab mich sehr wohlgefühlt und falls ich wieder in Sizilien "aufschlage", dann sicher hier!

I proprietari gentilissimi - parcheggio comodo e camera con letti super comodi. Posizione centrale è molto comoda per fare anche escursioni fuori città.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location
Pros:

This was a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Easy to walk to from the railway station and close to the heart of Catania. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We loved the history of the building and the information provided was a really nice touch. Our room was quiet and very clean and comfortable. We would be very happy to return here.

Hôtel très bien placé, personnel très sympathique avec un accueil en français. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Bon petit-déjeuner.

Cons:

Il y a un bar au rez-de-chaussée et la nuit du samedi soir nous avons eu l'impression d'être avec les clients tellement c'était bruyant .

Leuk hotel in het hart van het oude centrum.
Pros:

Een leuk hotelletje vlakbij het grote plein. De kamer is ruim (wij hadden de 4 persoons kamer) en de toegang tot hotel en kamer is handig geregeld, als je er eenmaal bent.
De hele entree is vriendelijk en goed verzorgd.
Bedden zijn hard.
Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Cons:

Wij kwamen met onze auto en hadden moeite met het vinden van het hotel en de parkeergelegenheid. Eenmaal gevonden verliep alles prima.
De waterbesparende maatregel (30 ltr warm water per 30 minuten) vind ik een beperking. Ik heb lang haar en als ik dat wil wassen lukt dat niet met deze beperking. Ik had dit graag voor het boeken geweten.

Clean, comfortable, and great value for money
Pros:

Hotel Trieste is a no-fuss hotel in the best way. It’s impressively clean, comfortable, and the staff are super nice and helpful. It’s perfectly located in the old town of Catania and walking distance from anything you could want, from attractions to restaurants and more. The parking is super convenient and the spaces are actually a bit bigger than they look online. The hotel itself is also pretty quiet considering the prime location!
