Very clean and comfortable throughout, an old building but done up fairly recently so all felt up to date and up together. Rooms were small and cosy but more than comfortable. Great bar / restaurant area downstairs for drinks and food.
I stayed 3 days and didn’t get a parking spot in the property…. only around 10 parking bays so had to park on the road each day and evening as car park was always full.

Wir waren vor einigen Jahren zweimal in diesem Hotel - damals war es viel besser. Dieses Mal hatten wir leider ein enges, warmes Dachzimmer. Auch beim Essen hatten wir an einem Abend eine Enttäuschung (milde ausgedrückt) - dennoch bezahlten wir den kompletten Preis - unser Sohn konnte nicht einmal einen Mocktail als Entschädigung haben, obwohl wir sogar am Green Room Programm teilgenommen hatte! Das ist kleinlich!
Our room and ensuite were clean, spacious and quiet. The bedroom had a lovely sea view. Cotton bedding and towels were great. Great choice at breakfast. All staff were polite, professional, helpful and friendly - fantastic.
A fridge in the room would be great.
The room was very warm with windows that didn’t open very much and no air conditioning; that said, a standing fan was provided as standard.

Nothing really but we did fancy a small snack, after arrival ut before going to our 'Do', at the Bedford. A simple sandwich which have been ideal but not on menu. We opted for some fries that were lovely.

No air conditioning in the rooms, but this wouldn’t be a problem 90% of the year.
Location, room and facilities were amazing. Staff really helpful at check in. Breakfast was chaos and added a bit of a downer to the stay as it was very busy and unorganised with no clear instructions on how breakfast worked for those with it included. Staff were all friendly other than at breakfast when they seemed to be struggling with the busyness and rushing around which made them not attentive. Overall it was lovely, we would return - without the breakfast chaos but otherwise would recommend!
Breakfast - which was included in booking, no clean or free tables, nobody guiding how this worked or giving any instructions with no hot food being served unless from the kitchen. The breakfast area was full from around 08:45am with no clean tables to sit at or nobody guiding you on what to do. The area was full of massive dogs blocking peoples walking paths and staff seemed to busy and ran off their feet to try and help you with what to do. Otherwise really good other than this which damped the stay but everything else was faultless
Great location, lovely comfortable room, nice pub and yummy breakfast. Great that dogs are welcome too.
