Pros:

Room was very nice, lovely view into the valley. Large comfortable bed, and the ensuite bathroom was more than adequate. Breakfasts were very tasty, evening meals were exceptional. Overall each and every one of the staff I met during my 3 night’s stay were very helpful and friendly.

A lovely night away, but the room would benefit from a larger bed to make for a more comfortable nights sleep.

Pros:

The room itself was nice but cold . The bathroom was a bit run down aa far as grouting goes .

Cons:

The breakfast was very disappointing . Cheap cereal was offered. The welsh breakfast itself was poor . Bacon was under cooked , beans were dry , eggs were like rubber and inedible. Was not worth the money

Trying hard to be a boutique hotel but needs more refinement and attention to detail.
Pros:

Quiet location. Large bathroom. Pleasant dining area with on site bar.

Cons:

Difficult access by narrow road.
Crowded bedroom with only a small double bed. Mould in the bathroom.
Broken blind on main window. Problem with radiator not working (standalone alternative one plugged in took up space).
Meals have to be booked in advance.

The lodges are set apart from the main house and nice and big

Cons:

The floor seemed a little dirty and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet roll dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work and seemed like the toilet roll had been stuck in there for a while. It almost felt a bit damp in the room

Cons:

£20 charge per dog per night seems excessive, as there’s already a premium on the dog friendly room. But otherwise highly recommended

Nice cosy country feel
Pros:

The room was nice and big and bathroom and it was warm . The restaurant was lovely country feel and staff were polite . You can take your dog if you want or your bike there was a shed to store them . The restaurant was lovely and the food was lush but drinks were expensive.

Cons:

The pillows were not comfy . The TV is old fashioned only normal channels no Netflix .

Lovely hotel, excellent dog friendly rooms.
Pros:

Location and dog friendly room was lovely and big.

Cons:

Nothing we did not like, but could make it a little more special by doing simple things.
Coffee/tea facility basic, could put hot chocolate, biscuits or home made shortbread as breakfast was good and sure chef could knock up some. Put rail to hold inside shower.

Cons:

Meals were not up to expectations. This was a big reason for staying at the hotel. Perhaps it was an inexperienced chef?
We needed to change rooms as the double bed seemed very small, we were satisfied with the second room supplied.
