I stayed here for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.
The temperature control for the shower’s hot water was broken. I reported the issue on the first day, and someone came to check it once, but it was never repaired. The water was extremely hot, to the point where it was almost scalding my scalp, making it very uncomfortable to shower.
I also contacted the hotel well in advance of my stay to ask whether the room I had booked was the easiest room to access, with the fewest stairs possible. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I had to rely on photos from other guests’ reviews and make my own judgment.
The hotel finally replied only one day before my arrival, when they responded to my separate question about late check-in. By that point, it was too late to make any changes to my booking.
The room I was given was in the basement. Based on the photos in the reviews, it appeared that the room could be accessed directly from outside, which was one of the reasons I chose it. In reality, I had to carry my luggage up to the first floor first, and then carry it back down almost 20 steps to reach the room.
With large and heavy luggage, this was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Had the hotel answered my question beforehand, I could have made a more informed choice about the room.
One positive thing was that when I checked out, the staff kindly helped carry my luggage back up the stairs. I really appreciated their assistance.
Overall, the lack of communication and the unresolved shower issue made the stay much more difficult than it should have been.
Very friendly staff! They helped out a whole lot with all our questions and needs.
They could use RAILINGS at the front entrance passage. For older folks it is quite a challenge navigating the deep stairs through the two front doors.

Breakfast is not offered as far as a I know. Ensuite coffee only, to the best of my knowledge.
The staff is wonderful. We had an after hours (after 7pm) arrival. The instructions were sent via email and quite easy to follow to get into our room.
There could be more coffee/tea pods available for the coffe maker, and perhaps a small refrigerator available in tbe room.
Location is great, walking distance to many historic sites, caffès and the hotel is relatively clean( except the patio which is almost inaccessible)
Please be advised that you are at risk on getting scammed, the hotel itself is photoshopped, you have a concierge for a few hours during day time sitting on a tiny desk right by the entrance, they post pictures from different rooms that you are booking. Almost all rooms are really tiny, not to mention the washroom sink is actually inside your room.
Paying 300-400/night is an absolute rip off.

Room is a little small and we needed to pay to watch any TV. Also had to park at Chateau Frontenac (expensive) because the other lot was full.
location was incredible, though parking was difficult, however, the staff bent over backwards to help us find somewhere to park!

L'isolation phonique : la petite chambre étant au RDC on entend les voyageurs qui arrivent tard ou discutent fort dans le hall d'entrée. On peut être aussi dérangés par le bruit de la chambre au dessus.Il serait utile de mettre un petit message pour rappeler aux clients de veiller à la tranquillité des clients le soir ou tôt le matin (le bâtiment étant ancien)
La chambre était de bonne dimension, belle décoration, et la salle de bain avec équipements au goût du jour.
Notre chambre étant située au rez de chaussé, il a été désagréable de se faire réveiller très tard en soirée par l’arrivée des occupants de la chambre au niveau superieur.
la situation géographique de l'établissement
Le personnel est restreint au minimum
On vient de refaire des peintures. On a tout simplement appliqué "une couche de plus", de sorte que les moulures et les boiseries sont pleines de grumaux. On a peint en noir les escaliers et au moins les moulures d'une maison bourgeoise du 18e siècle. Les couloirs et l'entrée n'ont plus aucun charme. J'ai habité cet autel plusieurs fois avant qu'on ne fasse ces interventions. C'était à la fois charmant et chaleureux. Maintenant, c'est une vieille bicoque qu'on a essayé de retaper au plus bas coût. Le résultat est catastrophique.
La localisation
La taille de la chambre avec le lavabo dans la chambre et la propreté qui n’était pas au rendez-vous dans les détails (sous le lit notamment avec poussières et lingettes usagées + odeur de cigarette dans la chambre)
