The price tag is deceiving as you're getting the bare minimum.
Pros:

The location was nice. That's honestly all we really enjoyed from the stay.

Cons:

For the price I expected a more upscale feel but everything was cheap. You have to park a few hundred feet away and pay additional for that. Breakfast being $40 additional is also insane for this stay, wanted to enjoy the hot tub but arrived too late since it closes at 10pm? Seems silly since it's daylight well past that and I'm not sure what they need to "keep open" since all our other stays had them open 24/7. The curtains really are not black out ones so it's quite bright still. Our room had someones home right next to it so while we were getting ready for bed they were pretty much outside our window unloading groceries and slamming the car doors. The shower folds into itself which is smart since the bathroom is very small. But that also means after one person showers the whole bathroom is wet. Personally I didn't think to check into the details much as it was one of the more expensive stays in Reyk but if you see a sticker price of $350 expect to really pay $450 after parking and breakfast. Things included at many other options in the city. If you're looking for an upscale, comfortable feel for your money I would look elsewhere.

Overall, it was a great experience. We would recommend the Alda hotel.

Cons:

For a late check out, they charged around 35$ per hour. It was such a bad experience in that sense. All I took was 3 hours extension as I had early morning tour trip and was unable to reach back on check out time at 11am.

1 st time in my more than 100+ hotel stays all over the world, I had such a situation.
