Pros:

Great location for closeness to the family we were visiting, Spacious rooms and like the dressing area outside the bathroom as gave some extra privacy. We were celebrating an 80th birthday and the private room was great and we felt well looked after

Cons:

The restaurant area is a good size yet it felt like the layout for breakfast service could be vastly improved as it felt like we were 'clustered'
Will also be great when the bathrooms are updated to do away with shower curtains

Have stayed there before always friendly staff tried the restaurant this time food was lovely and service is always 👍 👍

Cons:

I've never asked if they do rooms with just shower because I'm finding harder to climb into bath but it would not stop me from recommending your hotele

Highly recommended
Pros:

Arrived on 6/6/26 for one night stay and Carol and the team were very friendly and professional and had us checked in promptly. The room ticked all the boxes, nice comfortable bed, nice room and bathroom and also nice and quiet. The breakfast was second to none for choice and quality, and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. So overall a very pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend The Cornmill Lodge. Look forward to staying there again.

On the whole, we had a nice stay.
Pros:

It was a nice hotel, friendly helpful staff and the room was a nice size.

Cons:

There was a sign in the bathroom saying don’t remove shower head, it fell off while using it anyway.

It was better than we expected. We were impressed. We'll think about staying there again.

We had dinner Tuesday night. It was excellent.
The good and veg were piping hot.
Breakfast was good, hot, and had hot plates as well
