The One Boutique Hotel

Tiny, windowless cave of a room. Bed was so soft you couldn’t turn in bed. AC was loud on/off. Bathroom was a tiled compartment with bowl, tiny sink mounted in corner, shower all in one with a trip hazard ledge shower door guide separating you from the bed area. NO closet or wardrobe (there was only a portable clothing rack with 2 hangars), Only furniture was a shaky tiny desk, cheap Staples type rolling office chair, student fridge cube on the floor, full size bed tucked in corner, small bedside stand tucked behind a giant pillar. NO mirror in the bath except an accordion mounted small shaving mirror, only big mirror was mounted in a strange corner behind the pillar. Sparse, tiny, cave, in a great location.

The lighting system

During my stay, I called 2 seperate times telling the front desk it was extremely hot in the room. The guy came upstairs and was unable to fix the ac. I then asked for another room and he informed me that the other 2 rooms AC were not working but he would go back downstairs to see what he could do. I ended up falling asleep because he was taking so long and realized he never came back. Fast forward to this morning I wake up in a pool of sweat, I mean it was so hot so I called the front desk Again! This time the facilities guy came upstairs and "fixed it" but not before he asked me if I had COMMON SENSE and if I have AC in my home i should know how to use it. This is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HE WAS VERY RUDE! If the hotel employee at the front desk couldn't fix it last night, then how the would I be able to fix it and he replied "the front desk guy is new, it's only his second day". I am

The walls are thin, allowing me to hear the TV sounds, doors, and elevator opening and closing from other rooms. Another drawback is that it’s located next to a police station, which can frequently blare sirens. Additionally, the room’s AC sounds so loud every time it kicks on. This is so unpleasant when you’re trying to sleep at night.

Furthermore, this place charges for everything. Towels, shampoo, conditioners, and all basic amenities that are typically offered for free elsewhere are all charged. To add to the inconvenience, the elevator smells like smoke even though the elevator sign clearly states that smoking is prohibited.

No mirror in bathroom and plug socket too far away from the one mirror in room which affected the ability to see when drying hair.

The room was extremely dirty and did not match the listing description. The conditions were unacceptable, and I would like to request a refund.
