早餐在餐厅用餐后半小时后，开始胃痛，呕吐腹泻，向前台反馈后，前台让我自己去找诊所就医，作为外国人不熟悉环境没有找到，只好又忍痛打车到附近商场继续找，过程中，胃痛得不行，不停找洗手间，即痛苦又尴尬。服药后继续呕吐腹泻到当晚半夜。非常痛苦的经历

Check-in : it was a smooth and fast check-in experience compared to St. Giles, the bonus point is i get to choose my preferred room. Excellent experience!
The room is spacious and great 180 degree view.

Cons:

The main switch in the room! There are three common buttons in the room to control the central room light and i cannot figure out which switch to turn the light on.

Nice but could have been better if the staff had been more service oriented
Pros:

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel and its staff clearly lacked initiative and fell short of service expectations, they were very quick to do service recovery when given constructive feedback. This is commendable. Generally, all the staff from check in to service staff at the pool, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff at buffet breakfast and Tosca were all friendly and helpful! :)

Cons:

We had written to them to inform that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary - a significant milestone, and asked if they could decorate our room. Their replies were slow and mechanical. We also enquired about the dinner as our room rate included breakfast and dinner. Their replies were slow and lacked initiative. If we hadn’t asked, we weren’t informed that the buffet dinner was not available during our visit and we had to keep digging for more information about the type of dinner, which restaurant etc we would be getting instead. Despite reminding them that we needed the information to plan for a memorable anniversary dinner. We were also very disappointed that we arrived at a room that faced a construction site and the room was not decorated at all. Nothing to greet us or wish us a happy 25th anniversary. It was honestly downright disappointing on such a happy and special occasion which meant a lot to us. And it was a Monday. The hotel was quiet with few guests. We also wrote in to ask for early check in a few times but they refused to commit till the very end. So we showed up at past 3 pm as we didn’t want to impose on them. But they were kind to give us a late check out upon our request. When we gave feedback that the room wasn’t decorated despite writing to them, the staff asked to see evidence. I showed them that it was in the very first message that I had sent and subsequently there were many messages/ enquiries on the dinner. So they told us to go for a walk and they quickly added 2 swan towels and 2 balloons on the bed. Well at least they tried. Shortly, a staff brought a complimentary piece of anniversary cake to us. We are grateful that they took immediate action to make some effort because it sweetened the experience for us right away. After all we were there to celebrate and create happy memories… so we didn’t let their lack of initiative upset us or ruin our day :) And we simply drew the curtains instead of asking for a change of room.

Comfortable beds, good aircon, loved the lounge access. We arrived very early due to an early flight and the hotel made a plan for us to check-in 3 hours early.

Cons:

If you went to breakfast early you did not get the whole buffet.
Lots of construction around the hotel which makes walking to town a little unsafe.

A clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel with great service and lovely staff. Would happily stay again!
Pros:

We had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable. The service was excellent and everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and felt very well taken care of.
