Beautiful but with issues
Pros:

So beautiful grounds but were closed for the afternoon because of a wedding. Nobody told us about this before and were followed around by a security guard making sure we did not go into gardens. Room was hot. Had to call front desk to lower AC. Curtains covered the AC vents and no shade on window. Beautiful setting but for $2000.00 a night, they should do better.

We attended our son’s wedding at Villa Cimbrone. It is the most romantic we ever stayed in. The staff is very helpful.
Pros:

This hotel and gardens are what dreams are made of. The breakfast is superb! The views from the hotel are breathtaking. The concierge is amazing. The luggage service was the best we ever experienced.

Cons:

This hotel checked all of our boxes.

Wonderful, fairytale setting
Pros:

We took two rooms for 3 nights having driven in convoy with our daughter and her husband plus a dog from London.

It is impossible to park at the hotel or even get near it with a car due to the terrain, but they make every effort to offer advice on secure parking. Everything was in place and the parking company delivered us to the spot where a charming valet collected our luggage and we walked up the quaint and perfumed alleyways to the hotel.

What a beautiful, historic hotel set in stunning gardens.

With only 19 rooms but a plethora of staff it was a perfect stay. Breakfast, poolside lunch, bar and dinner at Il Flauto di Pan were all perfect. Not over fussy and the flavours clean with wonderfully fresh ingredients.

We will be back!

Idyllic romantic getaway
Pros:

What an amazing place. It was like staying on a film set. The most beautiful views and grounds. The staff were fantastic. Thoughtful touches in the rooms and the pool was divine. Places to eat are also in walking distance.

You expect excellence and they deliver, especially the staff! At every turn, and with every interaction, the excellent staff assisting us at the hotel and restaurants were exceptional. They felt like a family. So very thankful.

Pros:

We wanted to get a nice lunch in this place that is so beautiful. What a disappointment !!! 3cm of local wine glass. For 38 Euros per unit ( I would not day glass as it was almost empty, proposed to you with a smile.... what an expensive one.
Tasteless Risotto with one poor broiled raw scampi. 30 Euro per plate.

Stop the shame.
Do not enter this place.
