The location is excellent and the back rooms away from the street are quiet. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The floors were very dirty and there were a lot of old rugs that didn't seem to have been cleaned in a long time - along with the sofas and chairs and baseboards. I have dust allergies, so it was not good for me. There was no restaurant or AC as advertised. The fan was sufficient in the heat but a bit noisy.

Interesting theme, but if you prefer classic Mexican decor, colors - stay elsewhere.
Pros:

Fortunately had a "preferred" room with a balcony and two doors to the balcony, for much daylight. the other rooms (that I peeked into) had smaller windows, so less natural light.
THe theme (famous musicians and classical music) was chraming.

Cons:

Service at breakfast was slow, and we were obliged to pay for breakfast, when others had it included in the room rate.

Muy buen hotel
Pros:

El hotel esta decorado muy bello, la habitación es amplia, la cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Esta ubicado en el centro y aún así no se escuchan los ruidos de la calle. Bastantes conectores. Buen wi fi. Me gustó mucho el área del baño, con un espejo muy amplio y bien iluminado. Ofrecen un desayuno incluido sencillo pero llenador.

Acceptable, and something to the positive side, but I’m unsure as to how other competitive locations and hotels may be.
Pros:

Large room (this was the corner room with two full-size glass doors out to the balcony) and there was only a block from the Zocalo.

Cons:

Well, the theme is really interesting and engaging, it’s a little bit dated. It could use something of a facelift. (. All depends on your standards, of course). But there’s plenty of hot water, ample storage space, comfortable bedding and sheets, plus unlimited, filtered water from dispensers in the hallway.
