Motel 6 should invest in better filtration system if it wants to be at this location.

There is some type of factory across the street with smoke stacks. In my room, I could smell tar all night long.

Lesson learned…
Pros:

Not a bad drive from Cedar Point. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

We had to request a different room after we checked in because the beds were not cleaned properly. The top sheets had what looked like blood stains/specks in several spots, and there was dog fur all over the blankets. (I don’t mind pets but expect clean bedding). Sleeping was pretty rough because the mattresses were uncomfortable… after being at the amusement park all day, it was disappointing.

Before I booked this room, I called to make sure the pool was open after seeing some of the reviews. I was traveling with kids so I also wanted to give them something to do during our down time. They confirmed it was open on the phone but upon arrival it “hasn’t been open all season” . The sign out front even advertised the pool .

Was a great one night stay for cedar point!!
Pros:

Expected better
Pros:

The location was great for our needs.

Cons:

There was an odor of dogs. We noticed that several guests had pets. The people who stayed in the room next to us were talking well past 11:00. I'm not sure why we could hear them so well, but it sounded as if they were right outside our room. The beds were not particularly comfortable.
