Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Hotel was very clean and staff was lovely. Great location. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel! We can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location walking distance in the hustle and bustle, exceptionally my clean and maintained. Staff was amazing. Worth the price for what feels like an upscale hotel in a busy area! Will be back for sure

This hotel is in a great central location. You can walk to everything!
Hotel staff were very welcoming and the rooms were nice and clean. We used the pool and hot tub after days of hiking and biking.
Continental breakfast had many options, and they even had cold brew iced coffee.
We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and people watching too!
This hotel is a great option for families and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was exceptional. The location in Bar Harbor was excellent as we could park our car and walk anywhere in town. We would definitely recommend Bar Harbor Grand and stay they when visiting again.

We had the best experience staying at the Bar Harbor Grand! Location is excellent. Staff is friendly and hospitable. Accommodations are warm and inviting while still maintaining cleanliness and a sense of some “newness.” Will definitely stay again!

This is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient to the town’s restaurants and shops. A buffet breakfast is provided every morning that offers a wide variety of food items. The hotel’s location is at the end of Main Street where most of the shops and restaurants are located and is a short walk to get to them. That means that the hotel is quiet and peaceful since it is not next to the busy part of Main Street. The hotel is also located near the access road to Arcadia National Park which makes visiting the Park very convenient. The hotel rates are very reasonable considering what you get in comfort, convenience, and amenities.

We had a fabulous experience at the Grand Hotel. We were traveling with 3 generations and all of us loved our stay. The rooms are clean and well appointed (every hotel should have a setup for charging phones and computers on the nightstand like theirs!). And the continental breakfast was amazing - including dedicated gluten free options and lots of kid friendly options as well. Thank you for helping us create wonderful family memories!

Fabulous hotel! Immaculately clean, such friendly staff, good outdoor space, nice breakfast (I ate on the porch in my rocking chair) and excellent cozy beds. Even found a nice summer fleece blanket in the drawer. And a warm pool and hot tub! A mini vacation in my home state of Maine!

Best hotel in Bar Harbor! The room was spacious and super clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our stay. Excellent staff! The amenities were wonderful. Walking distance to many wonderful bars and restaurants, and of course the waterfront. Our stay could not have been better. Quick drive to Acadia National Park. The rocking chairs on the front porch was an added bonus. The breakfast spread was wonderful. Will definitely be staying here again! Would recommend to family and friends.

The breakfast was exemplary. The Chef and his crew were 4 star. The breakfast literally was the best meal I had for the days I stayed the hotel and we ate at other places in Bar Harbor. The staff made the experience exceptional.

Great location, rooms are very clean and quiet. Nice touches, like the diverse breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) that had hot foods (eggs, bacon, etc.), fresh fruit, homemade cakes and muffins, etc. Afternoon snacks too (popcorn, cookies, etc.). Rockers on porch were a great way to relax at the end of a busy day touring Acadia. Tons of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. And parking is included in the room rate (parking can be challenging to find in Bar Harbor--and expensive). But I think the biggest thing that stands out is the staff, who are warm and welcoming and work hard to ensure that your stay exceeds expectations.
