Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel. They offer tremendous service, are very friendly and helpful and offer some nice perks. Make your own trail mix bar, fruit ice water all day, whoopie pies were a special treat, blankets to use when you sit at the front porch The list goes on and on. You will love the location!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Loved it so much we extended our trip a day. Special shoutout to Randy and Neil, for providing the best service, helpful advice, and even making sure we made it back safely from Acadia National Park. Truly above and beyond. Hotel is beautiful, location cannot beat. Made even better with incredible staff. Cannot wait to come back here for another stay.

This was the perfect location for being able to enjoy all of the fun attractions in Bar Harbor and of course hiking in Acadia National Park. We highly recommend staying here and all of the staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

This stay exceeded our expectations. The place has an older style decor but is new and very nice. It made for a nice mood. The staff was incredible and super nice. The place is convenient to restaurants of Bar Harbor so walking out and getting a bite/drink was crazy easy. The breakfast was the perfect level and amount to start a day of activities. This will be at the top of my list for return stays in Bar Harbor.

This hotel is really great. It's not anything specific or any one point or offering that makes it stand out. They seem to try to do everything right. The rooms were quiet, clean, and spacious. It is within walking distance to all town activities but a couple of blocks away from the noise and congestion. Breakfast was very good. And the hotel really tries to work to sustainability objectives in the use of their resources.

This hotel is in a great location close to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor but far enough from the noise. Convenient to get to Acadia. Our room was clean and smelled very good. I should have asked what the scent was! All staff we encountered was friendly. The breakfast had a big variety. We didn't buy anything but the hotel also had a cute little gift shop. I would definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t speak more highly of this property and of our stay. Our children were greeted and treated with such kindness. The hotel and rooms were impeccable and the staff were all warm and welcoming. We loved the location- close to the action but just far enough away that we didn’t get all the noise. There was also a nice little spot next to the hotel to eat with red benches and an area for the kids to run around without being in the way - and a good menu offering. Down the opposite way, there was a small hotel with red chairs and an outdoor area where the kids also enjoyed observing. The continual breakfast was much more than how they described- it was fantastic. It was the best breakfast spread we have seen in long time- fresh, vast offerings and delicious.

Excellent stay, super comfortable room. In the center of town. Convenient parking on site. Highly recomend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Room was clean, gorgeous decor, and comfortable beds. The staff were wonderful (especially Doreen) and the breakfast was excellent. They even had a little trail mix station for hikers! Adorable. Will go back again, already planning.

I can't say enough good things about the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

Our room was exceptionally clean, recently renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to stores and restaurants, driving distance to Acadia National Park.

The complimentary breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and well-stocked each morning. The dining area was always spotless. Every morning, we were greeted by Josh, whose kindness and friendly personality made our day start on a positive note. He took great pride in ensuring that all breakfast items were fresh and fully stocked.

Another wonderful touch was the daily afternoon treat offered to guests. In addition, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available 24 hours a day, which was greatly appreciated after a day of exploring.

The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.
