Breakfast was good, Room 15 was great, older kids riding scooters round car park and beer garden not good, children in normal bar area not good, when a family room is provided. Room was fab, safe however was locked, extra pillows would have been nice, main issue was rooms too hot.
Lovely location, great car park, lovely pub decor, would like to be there when entertainment was on, drinks very reasonable, bar staff very efficient, lady on breakfasts was very good and taking breakfast order was efficient. Poached egg was perfect.
Very friendly helpful staff, food good, room very clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed and bathroom was small
The room was nice. Just what we needed for one night.
The squeaky floorboards in the room were terrible.
Room no. 6 was lovely, not too big but plenty of room for two people. En-suite was adequate and clean with nice large and soft bath towels.
Breakfasts were excellent. An excellent choice of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits and fruit juices followed by multiple options for hot foods with toast, butter and either marmalade or jam. Finally a choice of tea of coffee.
Good choice for evening dinners and Sunday's carvery was just fantastic.
The bar has an excellent choice of keg lagers and ciders with three or four rotating cask ales on draft.
We were surprised that the bin in bathroom was not emptied or bedding changed when we requested room to be serviced by placing card on door handle after 4 days. Sink was wide but very shallow and plug let water escape making it difficult to have a quick was or wet shave.
Might be difficult to find on site parking during busy periods.

The place was just comfortable, it felt like my local, The room was more than adequate and comfortable, as was the en suite. The bar had good choice and the food was better than average, with good portions and value.
An additional charge for breakfast, if you are going to do that have a charge for full English and also offer a continental breakfast, I would have been happy with coffee, toast and marmalade, but not on offer
