I book a room at this location with my husband on March 21- 27. I had the worst experience there. I'm a nurse and on 22th of May I noticed my right tire was flat once I started the car. Mind you, I have 4 brand new tires. The tire refused to take air in. I decided to go to the front desk for help with my tire. A Guest by the name Cander Denise who live there for months and very 28 days she must check out, in 2 days she can rebook. She decided to offer me a donut and I agree, she changed my tire and put on the donut that didn't fit my car. She drove me to discount tire to have it repaired, they called after a few hours that they couldn't repair because it was on the side wall of the tire. It was a tear and you can see the white thread. I had to buy a used tire to replace that tire. The woman decided to leave her 2 dogs in my room overnight with she run the street. The fig pooped every where and my dog was very upset and barking constantly at the girl. After she got her room, she wanted to fight me and argue with me because I don't want no free dog food from her. I had to call the police on her, then she started lying saying I haven't feed my dog in 5 days and my dog sleeping in my car. It was crazy! I left 7a 4 hours before check out. After I left she started texting my phone being disrespectful calling me name. I had to report to Motel 6 Customer service for property damage or face civil lawsuit.
I have traveled all over the world. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever come across. We booked as it was close to the interstate and we could stay with our pet for one night on a long trip. We were driving two vehicles, one of which was a luxury sports car. The moment we pulled in, people who were outside smoking came up said they’d be happy to take it for a drive. This alone made me nervous. We checked in, parked in the lot, went inside despite being uncomfortable about leaving our vehicles in the parking lot. The lobby was ok, but once we opened the door to the hallway to access our room, hit in the face with smoke / weed smell. The room was even worse. We asked for non-smoking and the room took your breath away because of the odor. The bed was a full at best when it was advertised as a queen, drywall was coming off the wall, and nothing looked clean. The windows were not secure. I have never been worried about safety before but I was at this location. We immediately left. The icing on the cake is as we were walking out, heard someone in another room yelling for help. Awful hotel and not safe. We elected to drive 21 continuous hours rather than stay there. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.
I had a great stay at Motel 6 on Carroll’s Boulevard. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I checked in, and they made the whole process quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which is exactly what I look for when traveling.
The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and main roads, making it simple to get around. I also
I actually stay here offen Ana and cheron are always so nice and sweet grate customers service the rooms are clean highly recommended!!
We were going to carowinds and brought our pups so we needed a place where they could stay and this motel was really convenient because they were super pet friendly and we could walk to the park.
The staff was very kind and welcoming so 5 stars for that. However, the room was not clean, specifically a lot of gross areas on the walls, the shower had a huge patched spot that looked like we could fall through, and they have a roach infestation which was really unnerving. If we were planning a longer stay we would have had to find somewhere else, but given the limited time we were in the room, we made it work.
After being at Carowinds all day and night, all I wanted to do was get to the hotel and get some rest. When I get there I get a whiff of old stale cigarette smoke, but at that point I'm like ok well I already paid and I'm exhausted so I'm willing to overlook that. So as im about to check in the receptionist tells me she has bad news.. Her system or computer was letting the hotel book more stays than they had rooms available, so basically I was left with no option but to leave and get a refund of course since I never even got a room. We ended up driving home 3 hours away got home at 3 am and were super exhausted.. The morning after I had to call the hotel because I noticed I never got a receipt for my refund but they told me I had to contact Hotels.com, wich I did and they were able to help with the refund. The whole thing was super upsetting so becareful when booking with this hotel.
The only problem we had was the air conditioning didn’t work
Yes it's about as bad as all 1-Star reviews say... Stairwell smells like a urine soaked bathroom, paint pealing from the ceiling and walls, mold/mildew growing, beds are sunk in and terrible it's just bad all the way around
Smelled like smoke, dogs walking around inside hotel, bed bugs in one of our rooms and roach in the other, left and didn’t stay. They refunded money and didn’t question the bugs because they knew. Do not stay here! Staff very unfriendly
Halways nasty and hotel smell is horrible
Room wasn’t clean
Really dirty rooms. Halls smelled like weed and stairwell smell like someone peed in it. Room was full of roaches and very dirty. Absolutely not going back.
We didn’t even stay there for five minutes. It was very unsafe and filthy.
This place had a horrible stench and trash in the halls. I had to check out becauae I was gagging from intense odors. Someone on drugs was pacing in the hall.
I should clean more frequently
Cops came to remove the buns sleeping in the stair case cops came at least twice my stay for the hotel the hotel is dirty and unsafe
This facility should not be on your site for people to choose, it's supposed to be non-smoking but the hallway is reaking with weed smoke the carpets is dirty, not even an iron or iron board is in the room unless it's a premium room. The night staff doesn't have a clue to the operations of the facility.
Upon checking in I was given a dirty and uncleaned room. This is the third time that I have checked in here and the room is uncleaned. Cigarettes buts and ashes left. Was given another room and the Water In the shower continues to run when the shower is turned off. Which was aggravating to hear at night. The bed was lumpy and wear out and the ac and heat unit wouldn’t even work I don’t understand why they haven’t gotten rid of the wear out mattresses and The floor was sticky as I walk on them
Since the moment I walked in the lobby I was hit with a smell that burned the hairs in my nose. The smell was a combination of urine and chlorine.
The room had roaches and it was filthy
