Beautiful hotel incredible location friendly staff
Booked a sea view room but it was really small and only a partial view due to parapet which blocked the view so you could only see if you were standing. Paid more for a sea view felt it's should be described as partial sea view. Food was ok but nothing special.

MOLTO IMPORTANTE: prima di prenotare vi prego di ricercare attentamente le informazioni disponibili sul web sull'attuale proprietario John Mappin, che non fa certo mistero delle proprie posizioni ideologiche e delle proprie frequentazioni. Eviterete così il rimorso di avere sovvenzionato lui e tutto ciò che gli sta attorno vostro malgrado.

Room facilities were very poor. The bathroom was extremely small. Carpets were stained. It wasn't what I was expecting

Beautiful hotel with exceptional views and a superb location. Very close to the ocean, historic Tintagel Castle bridge/walk, and Merlin's cave. Very nice restaurant and lovely patio overlooking the magnificent Cornish coast. Our favorite activity was watching the swallows fly endlessly around the hotel.

The Hotel is a Beautiful Period Hotel with amazing views
With the Dining area being so splendid the bedroom should off had a full length mirror for Guests to make sure they were happy with their appearance,also no shower mat or Iron/Board.
The location is incredible. The communal areas in the hotel are lovely.
The room had a caravan style pod instead of a bathroom. It was uncomfortable and my husband had to sit on the toilet with the door open as he couldn’t close the door because sure his legs were in the way - it was that small. There was no water or glasses in the room. There was one toilet roll for two people over a 3 might stay and we had to ask for toilet roll - we were given one. There is no service of the room unless you request it - I assumed this meant making the bed and renewing towels. It wasn’t. It meant toilet rolls and milk/tea/coffee wasn’t replenished unless you asked. Unfortunately we left at 8 in the morning and the desk didn’t open until 8.30 - so no one to ask. It was very basic for a luxurious price - at £200 per night room only we expected far more. It is a great location but that simply doesn’t out way the cost for the facilities we got.

L'hôtel est très bien situé avec une vue magnifique sur le Château de Tintagel et la mer, le parking est gratuit, nous avons été au village à pieds et fait la visite du Château de Tintagel sans difficultés.
Notre chambre n°216 au 2ème étage avait une très belle vue mais est au-dessus de la soufflerie des cuisines
Beau lit à baldaquin mais trop petit ( couchage de 140 ).
Le petit déjeuner était correct et le personnel très agréable.
Nous sommes donc un peu déçus du rapport qualité/prix.
Le système de l'ascenseur qui reste bloqué si les gens ne referment pas la grille après s'en être servi et cela arrive très souvent !
Notre chambre était au-dessus de la soufflerie des cuisines donc bruit et odeurs dès le matin... nous avons trouvé qu'elle était un peu petite, on ne peut pas poser les valises pour les ouvrir à part sur le lit et nous avons eu très chaud la nuit, fenêtre ouverte mais pas de volet donc réveillés très tôt !
