Pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. Enjoyable meal
No where to sit unless you were eating
Welcoming, clean, safe and comfortable location. Food was available and even if the restaurant was full, was able to eat in the bar. Staff were friendly and happy to help
Nothing! Loved the quirky character
The location is great, centre of Dolgellau. The standards in the rooms warrant the price. We had dinner there too which was a high quality ingredients and lovely presentation.
The breakfast was like a 3 star; limited menu. Long life pastries. Weak coffee.
An amazing hotel that left us completely delighted! I'd like to make a special mention of the bed! The mattress was so comfortable and the pillows were incredible. We had the best sleep we've had in a long time. Even though there's a bar downstairs, the room was completely silent, with no noise from the street or the hallway.
The food and drinks are delicious and the breakfast was simply superb with a great variety! They even offer discounts on drinks. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The suite / room was really fab, spacious and clean. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday evening which was very good, as was the breakfast the following morning. The lovely staff even wrapped a sausage sandwich and some toast for our kids that didn’t come down for breakfast!
Only slight issue was how warm it was, the room is in the top of the building which means a lovely view but warm for sleeping in the hot weather. There was one small fan that didn’t work particularly well, the staff could well have been able to provide another one, we forgot to ask and then it was late so we didn’t bother as only stopping one night.
Very comfortable room and bed. Lovely historical building. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely touch providing a flask with fresh milk for guests to a have a tea or coffee in room. Breakfast is excellent, cooked to order. There is a playground 2 minutes walk from hotel. It 15 minutes from Mach loop . It excellent location for exploring the area. A plane flew over while we were in playground.
Location was great and front of house staff were all friendly. Dinner was amazing and the service was excellent. The bar has a great selection of drinks.
Breakfast service was slow, and the continental selection was very limited. Not serving coffee from the barista machine at breakfast time, and only having cafetiere coffee when this hotel cost nearly £200 for the night is not great - very disappointed to have to go to a coffee shop in town to bring back an espresso to have with breakfast.

Very close to train station, 10 minutes by feet to city center. Private garage for motorcycle, nice room. A little bit vintage but confortable

the location was good but difficult to get long term parking. The staff were pleasant
That room we were given was not good. It was very small, the smallest on the floor and it faced difficult into the afternoon sun. The windows would not open. Considering we booked 4 months in advance it was very disappointing. The photos on booking.com are a poor representation of the room. Room 110 -avoid it.
