Peaceful and comfortable stay at Sarum College
Pros:

The setting. The peaceful retreat like accommodation. Just beautiful. Even the single bed was comfortable. They provided enough extra bedding and a heater. Thank you so much, Sarum College.

Würdige Übernachtung direkt vor historischer Kulisse
Pros:

Sehr sauber, Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und reichhaltig mit frischem Obst.

Cons:

Das Bad war recht spartanisch, die Dusche verkalkt. Aber in allem gut benutzbar.

Not just a hotel, a true place of respite, peace and quiet!
Pros:

This was an overnight stay because of life-circumstances but it turned into a little oasis of time and space I never realised I needed!
I found the property very easily using a standard satnav. There was enough parking. And upon my arrival, I was made very welcome by the reception staff member, Lucy, as we waited to be checked in. The main welcome room was so beautiful and must date back many years. Lots of window seats and pictures to look at, and the necessary computer was to one side, unobtrusive when the room had so much character.

Cons:

There was very little to dislike. I had hoped the library would have been opened longer. I arrived after it shut and had to leave before it opened the next day. I would have loved some time in there. I wouldn’t have taken out and books or anything, I’d just liked to have had a chance to look round!

Typisch englisch.
Pros:

Die Lage konnte man nicht toppen…..Mitten im mittelalterlichen Cathedral Close.
Die Ambiente war alt und ehrwürdig…….deshalb konnte man die teilweise renovierungsbedürftige Details verzeihen.

Recommended without hesitation.
Pros:

Excellent location! Salisbury Cathedral was outside the front door and the town centre was within easy walking distance. Breakfast was included and it was excellent - full English as well as cereals, pastries, yogurts, and fruit. The room was comfortable and quiet. The absence of a TV in the room didn't bother us at all, since we prefer reading a good book to watching TV.

Cons:

Nothing.

Disappointed to be honest.
Pros:

The location in the cathedral close is amazing heritage…history.

Cons:

Being constructive criticism, over priced, rooms smaller than you think on the app, shower cold, having on en-suite without a door between bed and bathrooms..for the price wasn’t good. No bottle water in the room…..Breakfast was ok.

Pros:

The location was good, city centre and next to the cathedral.

Cons:

Bed had springs sticking out. Dust all over the furniture/clogging the extractor fans. Spider webs everywhere, room facing an outdoor extractor fan. Reception staff wasn’t present due to a party being hosted in the reception. Did not feel welcome at all.
