I like the view
Beautiful hotel. Shockingly poor service for this price level.
Arakur was supposed to be the highlight of our first trip to Ushuaia. We booked only one night our final night and unfortunately, a large part of it was wasted dealing with the hotel.
We arrived an hour after check-in and were given a room directly above the parking area, with a view that felt completely different from what we expected based on the hotel’s presentation.
We asked to change rooms and were told to wait 30 minutes because someone would come to assist us.
Nobody came.
We called again. Waited again.
Eventually, they found us a much better room two floors higher one that actually felt appropriate for the very high price we had paid. We were then asked to wait another 40 minutes for the room to be prepared.
After 40 minutes, we were told it was still not ready.
At this point, a significant part of our only afternoon at Arakur had simply disappeared.
Only when we went down to reception ourselves and made it clear that this was unacceptable did things suddenly start moving.
The compensation? A small bottle of wine.
For a hotel charging luxury prices, this was honestly almost insulting.
The hotel itself is spectacular beautiful architecture, incredible surroundings and, once you get the right room, an amazing view. But luxury is not just a beautiful building. Luxury is also how you treat your guests and how you value their time.
The pool area was also packed with families and noisy children, so anyone expecting a quiet, relaxing luxury atmosphere should be aware of that.
Communication was another issue. We were surprised by how difficult it was to communicate in English with several members of the staff, especially at a hotel that markets itself to international travelers.
We came to Arakur expecting it to be one of the highlights of Ushuaia.

El lugar es increíble, muy lindo y acogedor, hermosas vistas desde cualquier lugar (comedor, habitación, gimnasio, pileta, etc). Las instalaciones, el mobiliario y la atención son muy buenas.
El agua del baño si querés hacer baño de inmersión es bajita, tiene máximo 30 c°.

Es hermosa y muy cuidada
Lo único para criticar es el poco control que hay sobre la cantidad de menores que hay y el descontrol en todo el hotel y sobre todo en el spa que es un lugar de relajación
Esto termina siendo poco comodo para los que no tienen niños
