Good location, friendly staff, great rooftop area with pool
Pros:

Good location, modern rooms, close to everything

Cons:

The shower above the bath. The bath is very deep to step into. Wouldn’t recommend for the elderly or people that aren’t mobile. Needs a bath mat as the bath is slippery to get in and out

Coffee if the machine was working and croissants if any were left. There was no restaurant as such the machine and croissants were in the lobby.

To Whom It May Concern.

I see that BOOKING.COM reads letters of complaint before they are forwarded to the hotel and booking in dispute. I am sending this letter to you with the understanding that you will forward it to the Chalelarn Hotel, Hua Hin.

We booked into the Chalelarn Hotel on the 20th of January for 1 month. My partner and I are in our late 70s and having many friends in Hua Hin we only expected to use the Hotel as somewhere to sleep.



Please find the complaints regarding the Hotel below:


1. Potentially dangerous large nail sticking out of the wall and long term dirty wooden artefacts.



2. Signs of water damage above window and the upper corner of the bedroom including bubbling paint.



3. Sticker above toilet telling users to put used toilet paper in the bin.



4. Water gushing out of the controls of the shower.



5. Unsafe wiring (outer door on the electric box missing).



6. Amateur repairs with different coloured and incomplete grout in the shower.



7. Dangerous floor requiring to be replaced into the shower room



8. Unsafe glass shelf and attempted repair to glass, behind the bed head.



9. Dirty artefacts on the shelf above the tea making facilities.

10. Unfilled drill holes in shower room where the toilet roll holder used to be and no toilet roll holder.




11. Stains inside the unsteady fridge



Inside of the fridge, after I had cleaned it.



12. Poorly installed light fitting.



13. Cold water system only.


In addition the basin in the shower room was chipped.

On the positive side, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant.

Never in all our years of travel have we encountered such a poorly managed hotel. We expected a Clean and Safe room to stay in, surely not too much to expect.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel . Would definitely stay again and recommend
Pros:

Charming hotel in traditional Thai style interior . Great little rooftop pool with a great view . Staff were all very friendly and always greeted me with a smile . Spacious rooms and very clean .

Cons:

There was no breakfast on site but plenty of places nearby to eat so not a big deal

Location location!
Pros:

Well located in the centre of town and within walking distance to the beach.
I liked the character of this hotel, enjoyed the spacious room, which had views from the balcony. It also has a rooftop pool.
The staff were very attentive and friendly.
I would book here again.

Cons:

The lobby area was susceptible to cigarette smoke with side doors opening up to a seating area.
The room had a kettle but no tea or coffee, although it was available of a morning with seating near the lobby.

Matig verblijf.
Pros:

De ligging is goed. Op loopafstand van de nightmarket en strand.
Mooi zwembad. Tot 11.00 uur kun je koffie en koekjes krijgen.

Cons:

Ik boekte twee nachten bij via Booking.com.
Rechtstreeks was veel duurder. De mevrouw van het hotel adviseerde dat zelfs. En beloofde dat we op dezelfde kamer konden blijven. Helaas troffen we de volgende ochtend het slimste jongetje van het hotel die vond dat we flink moesten betalen en gaf ons een andere kamer.
Dus opnieuw uitchecken en inchecken. Volstrekt overbodig allemaal.
Onze oude kamer bleef leeg.
De airconditioning in de nieuwe kamer maakte veel herrie. Alsof een vliegtuig opsteeg.
Bij het douchen in bad zonder afscheiding werd de badkamer volledig nat.
