Great hotel with excellent staff
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, comfortable spacious room, comfortable beds and great terrace for having a coffee outdoors or sit in the evenings. Exceptional staff who were welcoming and friendly. We’ve been a few times and staff remember us. They have a low staff turnover as many have been there for years and looks like a well organised staff team. Meals are lovely and breakfast is the best. Right by the Giants Causeway so free parking at the hotel and free entry to the visitor centre. Well worth a visit.

Not as expected.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone wishing to visit the Giant's Causeway. There is ample parking for customers staying at the hotel and the car park attendants were polite and helpful. It is worth noting that it is some distance to the stones but a bus service is laid on for a small fee.

Cons:

I had requested a check in time of between 1.00pm and 2.00pm. The hotel had acknowledged this request and replied that this would be fine so long as the room was available. A few days before arriving (but having paid) I received an email from the hotel saying that to have an earlier check in time would cost extra. When we arrived at reception at around 2.15pm we were told that our room would not be ready until 3.00pm. The room was not ready until 3.10pm. To access the room involved climbing a narrow staircase and we were told there was no lift. Entering the room there was an overpowering smell of strong perfume. The room was small, there was no air conditioning and the window would only open slightly due to its safety feature. The bathroom was small and it was very awkward trying to reach the bath taps which appeared to not be working properly and the paint on the side of the bath was peeling away and leaving a sharp hazard. We only found this quite late on in the evening. I mentioned it to the man on reception the next morning (he told me he was the hotel manager) and he rather abruptly said I should have found him during the night and the hotel would have either fixed the problem or we could have moved rooms. The hotel has a significant number of presumably non-resident visitors during the day and the hotel and restaurant are very noisy and busy. Our overall impression of this hotel is that it is overly busy to the point that nothing is done thoroughly, the staff are too busy trying to cope, the decour is tired and it is way over priced.

Great location. Characterful rather than old fashioned. Tiny bathroom but no problem. Great breakfast but beer quite expensive. Pleasant, helpful staff. Will return, if there's a deal on the price.

There be Giants. A memorable stay at the Causway Hotel
Pros:

The location is undoubtedly the best from which to visit the world famous Giants Causway. The hotel booking provides entry into the Causway Visitor Center where you can learn a out the geology as well as the legend of the Giants. The hotel is comfortable but beware there are no lifts and stairs can be challenging. The staff were great and helped negotiate the stairs with heavy luggage. We had dinner at the hotel and the fish and chips were great. The fish was huge and exceeded the dinner plate, so come with a good appetite. The full Irish breakfast is available though I tried the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which were exquisite. The staff at reception and dining room entry were engaging and hospitable.

Pros:

Great location right by the cliffs, the trails on the cliff, down to giants causeway and the visitor centre just in front of the hotel. Nice rooms and friendly staff, especially Mollie! We got an amazing sunset just a short walk from the hotel and were even able to bring beer/wine in take-away cups down there to watch the sunset.

Expensive but worth the price.
Pros:

Excellent facility. Expensive but appropriate for the destination and the experience desire.
I’m from Canada, but if I lived within a couple hours at this place, I would take my lady here for a weekend.

A very warm welcome- traditional northern Irish hospitality at its best
Pros:

Traditional hotel- large room- very clean- great facilities- fantastic breakfast- excellent friendly hospitality. The staff made us feel special from check in until check out- they went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. Access to trails from hotel around giants causeway. Free access to visitor centre and parking while booked at the hotel. Special word of thanks to Louisa at reception. A very kind caring member of staff

Loved our stay, excellent breakfast and the location can be beaten.
Pros:

We love the location and the building itself. This was our 4th stay and we treated my in laws to this visit, after only being here ourselves 4 weeks prior to this visit.

Cons:

Some areas are a little tired and there are some cobwebs in the room that had not been cleaned before our arrival. It would be lovely to have a little fridge in the room to keep water cold for at night.

Lovely for one night
Pros:

The location is fantastic, a short hike from the giant causeway sensation. Breakfast also was super with lots to chose from. The Hotel is nice but gotten into the years. The staff was nice but dry but in particular one lady was really fun she was looking after her customers and if you travel with kids it's important to be more open with your guests.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner...no spiderwebs in a corner by the floor where a bath is..the hotel in general has gotten into the years so it should be important to look after it and take care what it didn't seem to be happening. Dinner was OK but wasn't a hit. Most of the staff just passed by saying nothing it didn't give us the welcome flair.
