Not far from the beach
No parking, we were looking for a space to park for over 1 hour
Friendly staff and very nice clean rooms.
The room was nice, clean, and you just make yourself at home.
Very surprised this is only a 3 star
Very Good hotel 👍🏽
Breakfast was top , not greasy.
Came out nice and hot.!!
Gym, brand new plenty there.
Really good traditional English hotel which has moved with the times
Nothing
The staff were very helpful and caring. They did everything to make our stay comfortable
The evening meal wasn't too our taste.
We had the rosemary room yes the separate seating area is lovely but unfortunately not the best 2 nights sleep the mattress was to hard and the pillows are just terrible yes I’m a big guy but couldn’t fit in the shower and the sink is tiny so trying to was in that was interesting the breakfast is nice but not worth £15 I had egg on toast again nice but 1 toast with 2 eggs £15 come on and then when we checked out I made my views to to the girl on the desk she didn’t seemed to be interested well sorry at a price of £345 for 2 nights it’s not a cheap one
Just a really nice hotel. Clean, nicely designed and laid out, excellent and friendly service. A stone's throw from the beach and all the amenities but in a quiet side street so really peaceful. Would definitely recommend
Clean and location
The lady serving breakfast was not very friendly and didn’t explain the menu and presumed we knew what to expect but we didn’t. £15 was a lot for the service and options.
Our room was very small, but clean.
The staff were friendly, very clean and in a nice location. Breakfast was amazing
We were not able to enjoy our trip as we were ill and left earlier than expected
The amount of steps to our room 29 in total. Our mobility is poor. We asked for a room on the lower floor but was informed of no vacancies
Exceptional cleanliness and magnificent comfort
The staff were polite the room was clean and well taken care off
The cleanliness was amazing, the staff super kind and the breakfast was very good
There is not Air conditioning in the room so was very hot the fan is not enough at all
Great, personal service and lovely hotel
The attic room is at the top of 5 flights of narrow stairs!
Arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay at this adults only hotel. Everything was perfect, so clean and tidy, lovely bar area and sitting area too. Although we didn't eat at their restaurant, it all looked really nice on their menu and the dining room looked well presented too. Victoria was really friendly and welcoming and recommended places to visit within the area.
Free on-street parking directly outside the hotel made it easy to unload our luggage and straight into the hotel foyer.
The room was very clean, and again, very tidy, fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy bed etc. The only thing I would say is, the shower cubicle could have been slightly bigger for a 6' 1" person (myself), not the easiest space to take a shower. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I'd certainly recommend to family and friends.
Unfortunately, Great Yarmouth itself has certainly seen better days and it's sad to see it in it's current state after many family holidays there in the 1970's and 1980's. I'm hoping their town council renovates some of the lovely old theatre buildings back to their former glory and also tidys up the hotels on the seafront area in the coming years.
A fantastic overnight stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a welcoming feel throughout.
The room was beautifully presented and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Everything was well maintained and the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.
The staff were friendly and professional, helping to make the stay effortless from start to finish.
I only stayed for one night but would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Friendly, attentive, and faultless hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, peaceful, and impeccably clean. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel valued throughout our stay.
Although the room wasn’t the one I originally booked, I believe we were kindly upgraded, and it turned out to be perfect. Having a separate lounge area created a wonderful home-from-home atmosphere and gave me a quiet, comfortable space to relax and spend time writing.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep, and every part of the accommodation was beautifully maintained.
I also ordered room service and enjoyed one of the best hotel burgers I’ve had in a long time—freshly prepared, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious.
What made this stay truly special wasn’t just the facilities, but the feeling of comfort, care, and tranquillity throughout. I left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning.
Without hesitation, I would stay here again. Highly recommended.
