Location great but service needs to improve
Pros:

Great location and facilities. The kitchen staff was great: we had an early morning tour and they packed breakfast for us. There are water/drinks and fruit in the common area.

Cons:

It took more than 10 mins to confirm the room was ok to check out. We booked two tours from the tour desk in the hotel, one was good, one was terrible. The taxi ride we booked was terrible: the driver was constantly on the phone and no air con in the hot weather.

Cons:

Taxi- I was going to get a taxi to go to airport and they said they could call a taxi for me. The taxi guy charged 300 pesos and when I arrived at airport and took taxi they only charged 100.00. They have a group of taxi drivers they use. I think they increase the price due to that.

Cozy hotel in great location with wonderful breakfast
Pros:

Rooms were good sized and clean. Location was safe, walkable and close to Zócalo. Breakfast was excellent and varied day to day. Staff was friendly. Parking is available.

Cons:

There was a lot of echoing noise from the courtyard as workers began their days—usually by 7-8 AM. A couple mornings we had no hot water in our room but that was fixed later in the day. Parking garage is 3 blocks away.

Highly recommended.
Pros:

Excellent location, close to the zocalo (1 block) with a good breakfast included. Room (201) was spacious, had a little kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and sink. Bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water. 2 bottles of drinking water was in our room every day. Parking was included, about 2 blocks away, convenient and secure parking. Staff was very helpful and friendly yet professional. Based on our experience, a great place to stay and would stay there again if we are in Oaxaca.
