From the moment we arrived it was clear that care was taken with every aspect of our stay from welcoming us on arrival to the immaculate rooms and the amazing and extensive buffet. Staff throughout were exceptional, always friendly, helpful and really added to the experience. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 12yrs/9yrs) and all felt very welcome throughout. It was a very short walk to two different beaches which were great or, a slightly longer walk (approx 5mins) to another beach were we could arrange jet skiing or other water sports. We also enjoyed the pool areas and the kids especially enjoyed the milkshakes we could order from the pool bar.
We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay, from the moment you arrive the staff makes you feel welcomed and provide the support and assistance. The place is beautiful all around! It’s in a perfect location, close to all amenities and right next to the beach. Food, drinks and service are excellent! We will be coming back for sure!

Die liegen am Pool werden schon morgens um 7 Uhr belegt, obwohl es verboten ist. Das verbot wird leider nicht durchgesetzt.
Porto del Carmen ist ein quirliger Ort, mit vielen kleinen Bier - Buden und souvenirgeschäften - leider nicht sehr hübsch und voll von halbnackten Briten - das Hotel scheint wie eine kleine ruhige Oase
Die Kellner können sich noch etwas mehr an ihre Gäste erinnern - ist irgendwie fremd, jeden Abend nach der Zimmer-Nummer gefragt zu werden.

Writing this currently by the hotel pool. We leave tomorrow but said id post while still in paradise!. Our 3rd time back (that in itself tells alot) and this is still our favourite hotel. From the moment we arrived in a taxi we were looked after so well. We had the breakfast included and it has absolutely everything you could think of. From a fresh omelette station, juice making station and even a champagne area (to make the breakfast that little bit extra). The food selections changed daily, something new each day.
The pool is fantastic, with many areas to choose where you chill out. No rush on beds, although by 10am it's pretty full. The views are breath taking around the hotel.
I can't comment on the restaurants for dinner as we ate out each night, but the mango daiquiris by the pool are a must.
I went to the Spa this time and it's the best to date. Staff, facilities, views and my treatment. I didn't catch the ladies name but she has hands of gold, the best full body massage I've got Thank You!!! The spa is new and a must if visiting this hotel.

The property was beautiful lots of places to discover around the hotel and the greenery was very nice, very picturesque
Unfortunately there was a smell of sewage from the shower drain in the bathroom that was really unpleasant
So I had a short break away and really rated this hotel in Lanzarote highly. It's an oasis that could easily rival not just its competitors there but can hold its own on a worldwide stage.
Check in was smooth, friendly, efficient and personal. I was seated and offered a drink. Had some key points explained, my car was parked in the underground car park and my bags taken care of. Parking was €20 p/night.
I stayed in a suite and it was lovely. Separate sitting/dining room, large balcony with views over the main pool and sea, massive bed and beautiful bathroom with a free-standing bathtub for those who value one. I was provided with 2 bottles of water, 2 beers and a couple of juices, as well as crisps and nuts, which were replenished every day.
Housekeeping were splendid. Friendly when I ran into them. Turn down service included the obligatory chocolate.
There's always going to be some muppets that insist on reserving sun beds and not using them for much of the day but despite this, and perhaps thanks to the poolside attendants, there was always a choice of beds. There are several quieter areas further from the pool but great for quiet sunbathing and direct access to a quiet(ish) beach.
Yes there were one or two niggles but I would stress how minor they were. The "exclusive" rooftop pool for suites only felt forgotten about by staff. No clean towels and the bar up there was closed. On the one morning I did go to the restaurant for breakfast I wasn't shown to my table, just directed to sit anywhere that was laid.
I ate in the bar and had room service once. Both were very good. Pedro, the bar manager, was a friendly constant who works hard to keep things smooth.
I leave here tomorrow hoping to return soon. Recommended
Hotel is excellent from start to finish, upon arrival you are warmly greeted with glass of bubbly or if you prefer non alcoholic, check in was smooth and our bags taken to our room, this was our 3rd visit and we requested a room we had before which was accommodated. We were bed and breakfast and as always this was excellent. We were advised by Jet2 that there was excavation work nearby which did worry us however we didn’t hear any noise during our stay so just ignore that email if you get one. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, cleaning staff do a great job. My only gripe about our stay was when we were invited to a get together to meet staff and chat to other guest, we arrived and not one staff member spoke to us until nearer the end, it was extremely awkward, we’re fairly quiet and expected the staff ( which was management by the way) to approach us. If you a quite couple don’t go along to that. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it’s quiet and that suits us.

Parking is really difficult, as so close to beach all spaces are continually used no mater what time of day is is.
Therefore no choice but to park in hotel car park at a charge of $20 a day

From our arrival at check in, our room, the hotel inside and out, the hotel staff everything was just beautiful.
We stayed here on our honeymoon, and every little detail was noticed. The cava on arrival, the extra details I had requested on arrival. It was magical. The breakfast delivered to our room every morning was such an excellent touch, as my wife and I don’t usually mix well with others at breakfast. Housekeeping were amazing, looking after our room really well, and I’d like to give special thanks to the lady who came to my room every single day to ask if we needed anything and gave me chocolates. She was honestly so lovely and possibly the highlight of my stay!😂 The BBQ and the Chefs table were great experiences and we’d both like to thank all the staff involved who made it so nice. We are terrible at remembering names but the blonde lady who also works at guest experience did a great job, as a restaurant manager myself I think she did a fabulous job, and the food was amazing!!!! A building can have all the luxuries it wants but without great staff it means nothing, thank you to every single staff member who made our stay so special, from the second we got out of our taxi we were made feel so special.
