Pros:

Incredible views from our second floor balcony. Lovely property! Pool was wonderful! We swam everyday. Quiet! Off the main road. We could walk onto town and free Acadia shuttle stops at this hotel.

Cons:

We felt that a room costing over $300 a night should have been more updated and luxurious—bathroom especially was just blah. It needed a paint job—just all white. We appreciated having breakfast—but it was exactly the same everyday—mediocre—little variety— not even oatmeal, hard boiled eggs or good yogurt.

Cons:

No había servicio de limpieza de habitaciones. Si querías que te cambiaran las toallas y te vaciaran la papelera, tenías que dejarlas en la puerta de la habitación (que es exterior y da a la fachada del parking del hotel). Lo dejamos a las 9h y cuando volvimos a las 14.30h seguían allí las basuras y las toallas sucias, que pudimos ver cuando entrábamos en el parking, lo que da un aspecto muy feo al hotel, con lo bien cuidado que está. Sugeriría otra forma de resolver esto. Es muy feo dejar las papeleras llenas de basura y cosas íntimas y personales en la fachada del edificio tantas horas. Me sorprendió y mucho. Al llegar a las 14.30h lo dijimos en recepción y nos trajeron las toallas a la puerta de la habitación. Posteriormente, vimos que también tuvimos que pedir que nos pusieran otra cápsula de café para la mañana siguiente. En fin, ...
Por otro lado, el monomando de la ducha no funcionaba bien y si tratabas de poner el agua tibia, se caía hacia un lado y te salía hirviendo. No llamamos para que nos lo solucionaran porque estábamos un poco cansados de llamar para las toallas, la alfombra de baño, las papeleras y el café y nos apañamos con el grifo como pudimos.

The highlight of our stay was the breakfast team. Every member of the kitchen and hospitality staff was warm, welcoming, smiling, and genuinely friendly. They provided the level of customer service we had hoped to experience throughout the hotel.

Cons:

Our stay was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was not a great first impression. When we arrived and asked about the possibility of an early check-in, we were told it wasn’t an option and that our room was not ready, which we completely understood. However, there was no effort to make us feel welcome while we waited—no recommendations for nearby food, no suggestion to enjoy the patio or a cup of coffee, just a return to a conversation with a colleague.

When we returned promptly at 3:00 p.m., the lobby was full of guests waiting to check in and there was only one staff member assisting everyone. The wait was not long, but the lobby coffee was lukewarm and seemed as though it had been sitting out since breakfast.

Our room was clean, but the “mountain view” was disappointing. One window looked directly at a stairwell and the other overlooked the parking lot. It was also quite noisy during check-in and again around dinner time.

Unfortunately, check-out mirrored our arrival experience. The front desk attendant was sitting at the desk eating breakfast and again did not offer a warm or welcoming interaction.
