I prebooked and when I arrived the hotel was under construction which no one informed me of. I checked on line and the prices were significantly lower then when I booked. The manager, Kyle wouldn't make the change for me. I had to go outside because the wifi was terrible to cancel and rebook at the lower rate. Wouldn't comp our breakfast. the room had torn filthy carpet and mold in the bathroom.
This used to be my favorite hotel. I used to have friends from out of state meet me there to hang out in Colorado.
1. When I called the hotel on my way to Colorado, I was on hold for 5 minutes.
2.Pillows smelled dusty/musty
3.Someone else's hair was in my towel
4.Parking online charged me TRIPLE and the website had serious problems especially not confirming whether or not to submit information and it took 20+ minutes to do.
5. Staff were exhausted
6. There was no room service "due to construction"
7. TV was way too small for how far away from the bed it was
I loved the beautiful spacious room.
Nothing
The bedding was comfortable but everything else was horrible.
Staff was horrible at check in not explaining anything, such as construction, food and breakfast options since the regular dining area is under complete construction. Was woken up by loud construction machinery at 7:30 a.m. Staff was rude and abrasive about the 100$ charge for incidents. The room was dirty, carpets torn and stained, and the shower head did not work. We have stayed at the Wooley every year for the last 15 years. I am not one to complain but this was awful and not worth the cost of the room for one night. I will not be returning to this property and will be sharing my experience with others. I would like my money returned but have no idea how to go about that.
Big spacious room. Food was good. Staff was friendly
Showing some age and signs of wear
Beautiful room, large soaking tub, comfortable bed, quiet
Paying to park - you don't get a full 24 hours
There was a mystery stain next to a wall outlet. The bathtub hot water did not get even lukewarm. The microwave along with the mini fridge did not work. There was also a mystery stain on the sheets.
We stayed at this hotel as we had an early flight and needed to be near the airport. We were there for a total of 7 hours, so I can't speak to any other amenity other than parking. I booked linking through trip adviser, which advertises free parking. This was the selling point for us. Upon arrival, signage all over the standard suburban hotel style parking lot required paying $17 using a QR code. The first thing the hotel staff at check-in asked was did we pay for parking. I showed them where the parking was said to be free and they got RUDE, dismissive, and told me if I had clicked on the amenity link on the following reservation page, I would have seen the parking was self pay. So, they intentionally hide the parking fees on booking sites. The hotel is generally nice, but old. The furnishings are all old, but it is well maintained, mostly clean, and it has a nice more luxury style bathroom. BUT I cannot stand hidden fees and being taken advantage of. I would have stayed at one of the many hotels immediately nearby with free parking for a 7 hour stay if the fees had been transparent. Cost of everything is becoming unbearable for the consumer, and MARIOTT owns this property. This is just another corporate scam to leach additional fees out of their guests. I will never stay at another Mariott property anywhere.
Stayed here at the beginning of a week long vacation the night before flying out of Denver. Paid for parking to leave our car there, had a room BOOKED upon our return at the end of the week, and they GAVE IT AWAY. They were FULLY AWARE of our late arrival, as they had our flight times along with our vehicle info since we paid for parking for the week. After our vacation, we got into Denver late, 1:30am, took a taxi to Woolley's, arrived at the hotel after 2:00am, and after some bs story from the front desk about how they gave our room away, they said they would get us a complementary room in DOWNTOWN Denver. Let me tell you, it was nothing like the KING suite we had booked, well in advance, at Woolley's for the evening. We were placed at The Source Hotel in a small, awkwardly arranged room with two small full-size beds. We PLAN AHEAD, Woolley's had our credit card, room reservation, and could have charged us if we were no-shows. But instead we got the chance to pick up our car after 2:00am, after a very long travel day and DRIVE OURSELVES into DOWNTOWN. YOU FAILED WOOLLEY'S.... NEVER EVER AGAIN.
Location. Room and service.
It was stunning, clean, and comfy
The location was sketchy at night
The large rooms, comfy beds, & landscaping in common areas!
The staff where very helpful and the roo.s were amazing. Best night sleep I had at a hotel.
The furniture in the room was a little warn out, corners or chairs were split and the seats had the fabric warn out too.
Quiet and nice size rooms
Liked everything, room service didnt return one day and straighten the room and bring towels but it wasnt a big deal.
