Staybridge Suites London-Vauxhall by IHG

Excellent option for staying in London. Staff are all very helpful and welcoming. My room was clean, well appointed and very practical, with the kitchenette facilities particularly useful if you are staying for a few nights and don't want to eat out. Having free coffee, tea and water available in the lounge area is a nice touch. My stay had to be unexpectedly extended, the staff were very helpful with this and the free laundry facilities came in very handy. Good location, quiet, but not far from central London and tube/national rail and bus links at Vauxhall. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Das ist ein ganz hervorragendes Hotel mit absolut überzeugendem Konzept: Aparthotel, tolles Frühstück, super Lage, wohlfühlsauber, Waschmaschine und Trockner vor Ort im Keller ganz unkompliziert nutzbar, Kaffee und Tee und Wasser den ganzen Tag frei verfügbar. Und so unglaublich nette, authentische und freundliche Mitarbeitende... Klingt zu schön, um wahr zu sein? Gibt es aber hier, unbedingt ausprobieren!

Great value in quieter neighborhood, with access to the tube at Vauxhall station. Great local restaurants within walking distance. Staff is very warm and welcoming, always available to help with any questions. Full English breakfast with cold options as well.

Situated in the city centre not far from Big Ben and Vauxhall Railway station abd tube station. I was very pleased with my stay. The Gentleman on reception had my room ready earlier than expected as i was just leaving my luggage at the hotel. The room was spacious very clean comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent and a good choice of everything.

Friendly staff, good location, good breakfast

The location is perfect - just a stones throw from the river, and a short walk to Westminster. The breakfast buffet was great.

A wonderful stay with the nicest, friendliest staff you could ever ask for! Evening socials were fun and food and wine a hit with our group. This is a clean, centrally located hotel within a few minutes of bus and tube station on less busy side of Thames in Vauxhall. I would definitely recommend this as a great choice in London!

Excellent five-star stay with outstanding service, friendly and very helpful staff, spotless rooms and a real sense of quality throughout. The location was fantastic and made getting around very easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Freier Café und Tee in der Lobby

I booked here for the first night of my London trip largely for the solid rates at dual occupancy, pricing, and location. I paid specific attention to the reviews on Tripadvisor as they were particularly good.

Location wise, it's a bit off the path of the main London attractions which tend to clustre around the northern bank of the Thames but it is fairly close to the Vauxhall Station which has access to the Victoria Line of the Underground.

The room was a solid size though a bit underwhelming dimensions wise for a suite. The bed bench was a solid size and there was a small desk area. The mini kitchen area came with cooking utensils, a toaster, microwave, and a built in mini fridge. While the size of the room was small for a suite, I did think there was a good job of arranging the elements so that they were spaced out.

The one element of the room that greatly surprised me, negatively, was the cleanliness. The carpet had stains in numerous areas and multiple areas were darker shades than others showing the wear pattern. The left hand side lamp shade of the bedside light was quite noticeably stained. The bed was mostly unblemished as was the bed bench, although the bed bench had an unusual depression in the bottom third of the cushion.

The bathroom was also on the small size but the cleanliness was much better here although the space efficiency came into question here. Firstly was the small vanity area, which was exacerbated by the fact that the hand towels were huge. This left very little room for any belongings. Another rather odd aspect was that the hand soap doubled as body wash which meant that it had to be moved around for use. There were some nice aspects of the bathroom area: the water pressure was great, the shower control was very intuitive with one lever to turn on the shower and another to control temperature, and there was also a heated towel rack.

Breakfast in the morning was terrific with six hot options consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, beans, and hash browns. There was a selection of breads and spreads and an array of juices contained within a fridge alongside fruit, cold cuts, and cheese.

There were some aspects that were surprisingly good but with a number of basic elements off base, the rate doesn't do this Staybridge Suites any favours given that double occupancy is much more competitive in London than triple occupancy. It wasn't a bad stay given that the rate wasn't too expensive and the amenities, but definitely not what I expected.
