The hotel was perfect for a family stay, and convenient for travel.

Pleasantly surprised after reading some comments
Pros:

Great location with parking included. Ideal for visit to Manchester area without the hassle of driving in the city. Breakfast was additional but well worth it. Can’t beat a full English breakfast. Staff particularly appreciated. As people have mentioned could do with a bit of TLC but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I would certainly stay again and probably will.

Cons:

Decor could have been more modern but wasn’t an issue.

Good value for money
Pros:

Room was very spacious for 5 adults, the breakfast was really nice. Overall really good for the price we paid.

Stop off point while visiting family but has ran its course won’t be back - shame really as it was good on previous stay
Pros:

Staff were lovely and helpful Breakfast was really good loads of choice and fresh couldnt fault it

Cons:

Rooms very dated now - stayed here a few times over the years but our room (47) wasn’t the best even tho we were told it was an “ upgrade” awful smell could be the drains not sure - literally had to stand in the plug hole in bath for the shower to reach over your head so unfortunately not the best
