Inn on the Beach

It was our first but definitely not last time here! Our room was clean, comfortable and had so much coastal charm! We were in walking distance to a lot of restaurants which was nice and a 2 minute walk to the beach!!! The staff was very friendly and attentive! We loved that they had bikes and beach chairs available to use plus beach towels and a small cooler! This will definitely be our “ go to “ spot when visiting this area! 👏👏👏

We love IOTB so much we came back a second time and plan on more, Small, private, laid back, clean, great staff, modern, warm and in just the right spot in Pass A Grille. Only a sea shell toss away from the beach with complimetarty chairs = bonus.

Our stay was great. The room was great, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The view from the porch was nice at night watching the sun set over the beach. Staff was very helpful and nice. The location is perfect ! The amenities (beach chairs, unbrella, cooler and towels, etc) was such a nice bonus. We will stay there again.

Amazing experience! Location can't be beat- directly across the street from the beach. Clean, modern, everything you could possibly need was provided, including a cart to take to the beach with towels, chairs, umbrella, etc... we will be back!

Beautiful rooms, modern and clean with great A/C. The location is perfect. Steps from the sand. They provide everything you need, parking, beach chairs, towels, cooler, ice, umbrellas, even sunscreen! The rooms were quiet, the wifi and tv's worked great and the staff, Tina, went above and beyond to make our stay great. It's a 5 minute walk to Paradise Grill on the beach which is fantastic and a 6 minute walk to all the other great restaurants and shops. And a 10 minute walk to the marina where there's fishing and a boat shuttle to shell island. Perfect stay!!

I had to add to my earlier review that Jay was very hospitable the next morning and took 50 dollars off my room for the noise complaint the night before. Also I was shown two different rooms on the second floor with one or both beds facing towards the beach.

We loved our stay at the Inn on the Beach! The rooms are so nice, and the staff is even nicer. Having access to beach chairs and umbrellas to use at the beach, which is just across the street, was so helpful. The provided beach towels were plush and readily available, with the option to trade them out as needed. Providing a cooler in the room and ice was also super convenient and helpful. The location is also great - just far enough from the busy historic district to be peaceful, and yet close enough to walk to restaurants and shops.

Amazing location, literally right across the street from beach access. Complimentary beach towels, chairs, coolers and umbrellas made the beach experience so easy.

Super sauber, sehr nah am Strand!

Everything was spotless, the location couldn’t be better considering the beach is about 10 steps away. The woman in the office was very helpful and kind. Parking is limited but she had other guests move cars so I could get a spot.

I stayed at the Inn on the Beach for 3 nights in June, 2026. The location is directly across the street from Pass-a-Grille Beach, one of the most beautiful Florida beaches! The Inn is quaint, yet luxurious with well planned rooms for maximum comfort. There are beach chairs and umbrellas available for guests to use as well as bicycles. Inn on the Beach receives my very highest recommendation as an exceptional beach getaway!

A lovely stay! The Sunset room was beautiful; we especially loved the balcony and the kitchen, and how convenient it was to just grab a cooler, ice, beach chairs and towels and walk across the street to the beach. Parking is a bit difficult around midday but after about 4pm we had no issues getting a spot. Lots to do in the area, we borrowed the bicycles to go to dinner. Overall it was a perfect quick weekend getaway.

My granddaughter and I take an annual beach vacation. We’ve stayed in hotels, condos and houses. The Inn on the Beach is our favorite. It is a lovely older building that has been tastefully renovated. The staff is eager to please, there are great amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, beach towels and more. Our unit had a private courtyard, a complete kitchen and a living/dining area. The furniture appeared to be fresh and new. The best part is that the beach is right there. The beach is beautiful, as is the water. We will definitely be returning to Inn on the Beach.
