I've had good experiences with this motel on multiple occasions, but this time they dropped the ball
Pros:

Initially I was checked in to a room that was supposedly 'out of order.' Only in the morning did I discover the shower was missing the cold water tap, and I couldn't have a shower. The bed was so saggy on one side, it was impossible to sleep on...might as well have had a single bed. When you travel for work, all you really want is a comfortable bed and a good shower...they were 0 for 2 on this occassion.

The facilities were as advertised in booking.com. Satisfactory stay.

Cons:

During our stay, I noticed that several staff members would benefit from additional customer service training. Interactions felt transactional rather than warm and welcoming, which is not in keeping with the standard expected of a hotel environment.

Our time there was lovely, and the whole experience left me feeling happy and well looked after.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay here. My favourite parts were the extremely friendly staff member who checked us in and the lovely cleaning lady who kept everything spotless each day. The complimentary drinks were a great bonus too. The location couldn’t have been better for me — being coeliac, having safe gluten‑free food options and even a gluten‑free bakery just down the road felt like I’d struck gold. It was easy to find, comfortable, and exactly what I needed.

Cons:

There honestly wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the place, and being from another country I’d felt a bit nervous at first, but the hotel made everything feel comfortable and homely.
