The tv was very slow and not working properly. The lamp in the room was flickering and not working properly, may need to get that fixed or a new one, it felt like it was going to blow.

Great for a long stay for a couple
Pros:

Very central and walking distance to great restaurants and supermarkets. We were on level 8 in a one bedroom apartment which was huge. Fantastic balcony with some sea views. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed. There was only slight traffic noise, despite being on a main road - probably only noticeable by us because we live in the countryside and are not used to city noise. Plenty of options nearby for great coffee. We really enjoyed being able to cook a meal in a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean - I am fussy and have travelled extensively for work; this is amongst the cleanest I’ve ever encountered. We would stay again.

Cons:

Spare pillows and an extra blanket would have been ideal. There was a musty, mouldy smell that prevailed our entire stay - it wasn’t horrendous, just noticeable. There was no visible mould or anything like that; the apartment was spotless.

Good room but could easily & cost effectively be made a lot better.
Pros:

I liked the location, the room was clean, the shower was nice, the lounge room was comfortable, the kitchen was clean & everything worked, the air-conditioner & ceiling fans were great.

Cons:

The toilet is a bad shape & the lid doesn't fit properly, it is the worst toilet i have sat on & no matter what you do you will be touching the porcelain with your backside & you will get your poop on the back of the bowl making an un-necessary mess every time.

The blinds on the big windows / doors facing the street need to be changed for either heavy curtains or solid blinds with no gaps & that can't blow in the breeze from the fans.
The street light shines between the existing ones directly on your face at night when you are trying to sleep & the weights at the bottom of the blinds swing & tap the wall all night making a knocking noise. If you extend them lower to the floor so they can't blow then the gaps between the blinds increases causing the street light to become more of an already annoying, sleep depriving problem.
I can honestly say that I didn't sleep at all the first two nights I was there because of it & I only slept on the third night out of sheer exhaustion.
The next night I slept with the lights on in the room which helped as it alleviated the flashing effect of the swinging blinds gap opening & closing causing the street light to constantly flash in your face during the night.
Should be fixed & I'm sure I wouldn't have been the first person to say this.
For the cost of the room these two bad issues are a very small price to pay to make your clients happier & return.

The blinds let so much light it and there broken and dont work. Carpet was pretty old and stains all over it.

We went and bought glasses and plates from Kmart and left them there as Reception didn’t respond to our request

Pros:

The gentleman at reception was extremely polite and very helpful. The apartment was on the 17th floor and was amazing had everything that we needed and more . The view from this apartment was stunning . We loved our stay there and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for that special place at an affordable price
