The whole place is very tired looking. Loose tiles on bathroom floor. The room was very dusty. There was a strong smell of dope on the stairway.
Car park behind hotel great for Headingley stadium. Has character. Breakfast available kettle and assortment of drinks in room tv ironing board etc too. Bed comfy

The bed linen and towels were fresh and clean. The location for the AMT Stadium perfect and the car parking space included were the best features.
The hotel/B&B needs a complete make over. It is such a shame because the staff member was lovely, the location and car parking perfect, but the hotel was really dirty and run down. I found rubbish in the dressing table drawers. There were heaps of dust and fluff behind the radiator and close to the skirting boards, A light fitting wasn't working, the batteries needed replacing in the TV Remote, the sink hadn't been cleaned. The silicon around the bath was full of mold and coming away, the bathroom floor tiles were cracked, There were hairs on the shower curtain. The breakfast wasn't bad but I picked up the jar of breakfast cereal and it was really dirty and sticky. The table settings were dirty.
i stay here when watching rugby or cricket at Headingley, not the best hotel, but great location.
Not the best hotel, but I know what i am getting!
Proposed breakfast as compensation for a room they could not deliver. When we went for breakfast it's was already gone so no compensation.
owner was not friendly
Comfortable bed, TV, lovely breakfast and close to Headingley cricket ground. Plenty of parking at the rear. I am disabled and requested a ground loor room which was provided.

We have stayed at Butlers before and what we liked most was the friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast is really good.We got a really good room this time which opened out onto the car park.
The hotel is in need of a good makeover but the bedding and towels were spotless.We go there when we go to Headingley for the cricket.It is a 5 minute walk to the ground.Parking is free and is behind the hotel.
The shower in the room was not very good.Just a trickle of water came out.
Only good thing was it was near to headingly stadium.
The room was VERY dated and not very clean. There was thick dust under the bed. The bathroom had cracked tiles on the floor and was generally grubby. It was not a pleasant place to stay.
