Good location ,lovely staff,interesting features,outdoor seated area

Breakfast was tasty
Electric bed was a bit bizarre and still too high and it’s lowest height
Bathroom entrance was dangerous as you open the door then two steps down
Accident waiting to happen
Kept light on to avoid forgetting so this disrupted sleep
Location very convenient
Had a nice wee balcony

Dans descriptif booking pas d'horaires de breakfast,le dimanche devions partir à 7h50, et apprenons que horaire du w e. 8h00/11h00, pas dans le descriptif de l'hôtel ni de booking dont coût 7x 29£ !! Avons reçu de l'hôtel un lunch packet sommaire mais sans plus, car réservé avec booking qui na jamais répondu au mail envoyé!!! Payé 203 £ pour un service non preste

Perfektes Stadthotel in idealer Lage mit außergewöhnlichem À‑la‑carte‑Frühstück
Pros:

Das Hotel entspricht genau unseren Vorstellungen eines Londoner Stadthotels. Es liegt quasi gegenüber der King’s Cross / St. Pancras Station und ist somit verkehrstechnisch ideal, um die Stadt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden.

Das Hotel hat keinen eigenen Frühstücksraum, stattdessen erhält man einen Voucher für ein Restaurant (die Extrakosten sind es Wert) etwa eine Minute entfernt. Dort genießt man erstens eine tolle Aussicht auf das morgendliche Treiben der Londoner Innenstadt und zweitens ein hervorragendes À‑la‑carte‑Frühstück, frisch zubereitet – so etwas findet man nur noch selten! Der Kaffee kommt aus einer Siebträgermaschine und schmeckt ausgezeichnet.

Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich.
Unser Zimmer (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind – 7 Jahre) war sehr klein, aber für zwei Nächte völlig in Ordnung.

Leider gibt es keinen Fahrstuhl, und die drei Treppenhäuser in Kombination mit der Zimmernummern‑Logik sind eine kleine Lernaufgabe.

Cons:

Man sollte im Sommer bedenken, dass das Hotel keine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern hat – es kann daher sehr heiß werden. Zudem sind die Treppenhäuser sehr schmal, und da es keinen Lift gibt, ist der Weg nach oben mit schwerem oder großem Gepäck eine echte Herausforderung.

No lift but the receptionist kindly changed our room to the ground floor. The road outside was noisy all night long so I got very little sleep. My husband who is deaf slept well

The first room I was given had a constant loud buzzing sound outside so I asked to move. The second room I had was quieter but stuffy and smelt funny.
