A relaxing luxury pause, best place we stayed on our backpacking trip
Pros:

Super relaxing, just out of center, in nice neighbourhood with local shops/places to get food. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast and coffee was amazing, pool right outside our door.

Cons:

Bikes are a bit rickety but great to be able to use them for free to get around.

Nydelig sted - anbefales!
Pros:

Stedet ligger litt utenfor -, men likevel i gåavstand til byen. Vi ønsket å bo et rolig sted, så det var helt perfekt for oss. Resorten tilbyr gratis skyss til og fra byen til bestemte tidspunkt. De tilbyr også gratis henting/kjøring til/fra flyplassen.

Leilighetene og bungalowene er omgitt av et frodig landskap og med elva like nedenfor. Vi fikk oppgradert et av våre rom til bungalow, på resortens initiativ. Det satte vi stor pris på. Nydelige rom og bungalow, med god plass og veranda stor nok til å sitte på.

Frokosten var god og hadde godt utvalg. Vi valgte å spise lunsj eller middag i restauranten flere dager. Veldig god mat!

Bassenget var godt å finne etter turer og utflukter, og vi fikk også bruke det etter stengetid en kveld.

Personalet og ledelsen ved resorten var svært hyggelige og på tilbudssiden. De kunne gi forslag om- og bistå med å arrangere turer eller aktiviteter i området.

Vi hadde det veldig fint på My Dream Boutique Resort!

Prachtig resort voor een paar dagen LP
Pros:

Heerlijke opzet. Prachtige locatie, fijn restaurant en goede shuttle service

Cons:

We lieten treinkaartjes organiseren maar die waren erg duur en bovendien niet naar het juiste station, waardoor we een veel langere reis hadden dan gehoopt (station verder uitstappen)

スタッフの方が親切。朝食は毎日2-3品は種類が替わり連泊しても楽しめた。。飲料水はレストランスペースに自由に使って良いウォーターサーバーがあるため助かった。クアンシーの滝に行きたい場合は、ホテルフロントで相乗りバンの予約が一番お得と思える。往復150,000キープ（別途入場チケット現地で支払いあり。）
ナイトマーケットまではLocaでも片道90,000キープくらいのためそこまで高くはないけど、ホテルからの無料バスは上手く使えばちょうど良い時間に帰ることができるためもっと活用すべきだった。徒歩だと片道25分くらい。帰れなくはないが帰路途中の橋がなかなかスリルあります(笑)

Cons:

風呂場にはシャンプーとボディソープしかない。化粧水などのアメニティは無い。小さなアリとかはそれなりにいるので、（旅先でラオスを選ぶからにはそこを気にする人は少ないと思うが）虫よけスプレーは持ってくるべき！

Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience at My Dream Boutique Resort in Laos. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beauty, tranquility, and genuine hospitality.

The resort itself is stunning—lush with beautiful tropical vegetation, peaceful, exceptionally clean, and wonderfully maintained. There is a true sense of privacy and seclusion that makes it incredibly easy to relax and escape from the outside world. Our suite was beautiful and provided the perfect sanctuary for our family vacation.

What truly sets this resort apart, however, is its incredible staff. The level of professionalism, attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care we experienced throughout our stay was exceptional. Every interaction made us feel valued, welcomed, and incredibly well cared for.

A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Mr. Sam, Mrs. Kesone, and Mr. See, whose exemplary hospitality made us feel like royalty during our stay. Their warmth, attentiveness, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring our family was happy and comfortable went far beyond our expectations. They didn't simply provide excellent service—they created lasting memories for our family.

We were equally impressed by the entire team, from the front office staff and dining team to maintenance and the gardening crew. Any concern was addressed quickly, professionally, and proactively. The outstanding dinner service, the immaculate grounds, and the thoughtful attention to every detail reflected a team that takes genuine pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.

Boutique hôtel plein de charme dans un endroit, Luand Prabang, très attachant.
Pros:

Ambiance très chaleureuse, le personnel d’une extrême gentillesse. Un bungalow très sympa dans les jardins. La piscine. Le petit dej très copieux.
Le calme. Le charme.

Cons:

Hôtel un petit peu loin du centre mais qui est grandement compensé par la quiétude du lieu après le brouhaha de la ville et le grand jardin fleuri donnant sur la rivière.
Des navettes sont mises en place et il y a les tuck-tuck. Ça n’est vraiment pas un problème.

The rooms are very pleasant and clean, and the staff is helpful, always welcoming you with a smile and providing quality service.

Our check-out experience completely ruined the stay and left a really bitter taste in our mouths.
We honestly felt like we were just viewed as walking wallets. First off, beware of the price you see on Booking, they slap on an extra 10% VAT at the very end that isn't clearly integrated into the initial total.
The biggest shock was the laundry. We have been traveling in Asia for 4 months and have always paid around €5 maximum for our laundry, so we completely trusted the hotel and didn't thoroughly check the pricing slip beforehand. Maybe that is our fault, but charging $24.30 for barely 30 to 40 everyday items is extreme, unjustified, and completely abusive. To put that into perspective, our other hotel in the exact same city charges per kilo, and it cost us only 30,000 kips (about $1.30) for the exact same amount.
Finally, to add insult to injury, the hotel prices everything in US dollars and converts the final total to Lao Kip using their own inflated exchange rate. For our final bill of $137.36, the official market rate for the day was 3,017,712 Kip on Google, but the hotel charged us 3,091,000 Kip, pocketing an unannounced margin on the conversion.
The whole pricing system feels deceptive, borderline unethical, and completely disconnected from the reality of the country.
Skip this place if you value financial transparency.
