The staff was friendly
It was kind of dirty really small rooms
It was not clean
Pet potty area was kept clean , doggy bags was appreciated and garbage can mept clean.
The people in the other rooms were extremely loud until 3 am and could not sleep. A lot of people going in and out and smoking and standing around talking near my window in the day and night.- Didn’t get good sleep.
Not much at all. It was clean. That’s about it.
First, when I made the reservation, I specifically requested a ground-floor room to accommodate my mother, who is handicapped. I was assured that this would not be a problem. However, when we arrived to check in, we were informed that no ground-floor rooms were available. We were instead placed in an upstairs room, which created significant difficulty for my mother and made our stay much more challenging than it should have been.
In addition, we did not feel safe or comfortable at the property. There were individuals loitering around the motel at all hours, including what appeared to be prostitution activity. The noise throughout the night was excessive, with people outside partying, yelling, and causing disturbances until approximately 4:00 a.m. At one point, around 1:00 a.m., someone was even banging on our door.
We contacted the front desk, and the gentleman working did come outside and ask the individuals to settle down. Unfortunately, the disturbances continued afterward. We were ultimately told that we could contact the police if we felt it was necessary.
Between the failure to accommodate the ground-floor room we had specifically requested for my handicapped mother, the ongoing disturbances, and the overall lack of safety and security we experienced, this was an extremely disappointing stay. We were unable to rest or feel comfortable at the property and, unfortunately, this was by far the worst motel experience we have ever had.
Near
Near the freeway but 1 thing I didn’t like was to much noise in middle night
The smell of the room
It was reasonably priced and convenient to what I needed to do in Reno.
I count on Motel 6 to be affordable and clean. This location was that. However, it is seedy. I was struck by the smell of pot every time I left my room. It did not feel safe. The other “guests” I encountered reminded me of street people I encounter in the Tenderloin in SF.
Location
Area, lots of illegal activity
Shower leaked all over the floor, major fall hazard. Refrigerator in the room didn't work at all, had an odor that was highly unpleasant. Freeway noise made the property loud.
