I wasn’t aloud to stay because my address was in the local catchment it is a joke I had a massive suitcase with me and they could clearly see that I had all my stuff with me as I just got kicked out of home and had no where to stay and they still wouldn’t take me I even told them that I had no where else to stay and they still rejected me !

A great stay over to access the sights of The Entrance, Lakes, beaches and especially Pelican Time.
Pros:

Our greeting from Lisa was brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday night roast dinner. The many sport showing TVs were a bonus. A very clean, quiet and comfortable rest stop. Our room was well situated to the shared bathroom and while our movement up stairs was slow, other guests and staff were helpful.

Pros:

Room was lovely. Clean and comfy. Location was great. Staff were great! Great location short walk to the best Mexican restaurant and also a great fish and chips shop.

Cons:

Shared bathroom. Was fine for me and 2 of the girls because I am fairly certain no other women were staying when we did. My son wasn't thrilled about sharing a bathroom with random men but honestly it wasnt that big of a deal! Bathrooms were all clean and well stocked. Water temperature was a bit of a juggle but that's also expected in an older building.

Budget friendly hotel.
Pros:

We felt comfortable to stay here. The staff were accommodating and friendly. It is on the road of many restaurants and facilities. Walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious. You are above the pub and the food was delicious. We only ate there once on our first night for ease but that was good enough for us. The staff are very quick and thorough always smiling and chatty but not overbearing or annoying. It is easy to come and go from the hotel .

Cons:

Although it says you have a designated car spot, we found it tough to find a spot as it gets filled up very quick with guests. This is ok though as there is walking distance to basically everything you need. Shared facilities felt a little uncomfortable as you don't know if the people will be unclean, unfortunately we did have some guests leave behind insanity items in the bathroom but the staff did clean it up and were happy to help with everything. So it's definitely depending on who you are lucky or unlucky enough to stay at the same time as. I wish there were more kitchen facilities in the family room. But the kitchen was always available to help when needed. It is a very old hotel it's been there for I'd say 100 years so just keep this in mind when booking.
