Pros:

A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész, minden óhajunk azonnal teljesült. Van mosodai szolgáltatás ami nagyon hasznos volt.

Cons:

Az ételek szerintem lehetnének kicsit jobbak, de teljesen elfogadhatóak . Kicsit talán messze van a mellette lévő városoktól ha programozni akarsz este .

Geweldig verblijf, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, grote kamers
Pros:

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Ruime kamers, groot zwembad, goed en betaalbaar eten (zowel van de kaart als het buffet) en het personeel is echt ontzettend vriendelijk. Ze staan met alles voor je klaar en altijd met een glimlach. Ze hebben voor ons de safari geregeld naar Minneriya Nationaal Park wat echt een aanrader is!

Cons:

Wat kleine dingen. Sommige handdoeken bij het zwembad zijn aan vernieuwing toe, de sportruimte en de wc daarnaast is toe aan een opknapbeurt.

Pleasant stay and well located. However, the hotel needs updates in their amenities and facilities.

Buffet was also good.
Located close to main sites.

Cons:

The hot water stopped on one of the nights.
The service at the bar and the pool was very slow
The decor is very outdated and needs updating.
The driver accommodation was not up to standard and this should be improved.

Is heel mooi geweest. Nu einde van het latijn
Pros:

Vergaande glorie. Geen 7 waard hoge score door vroegere beoordeling!! Wij zijn nu 2 weken op reis door Srilanka en hadden hoge verwachtingen gezien de reviews echter was dit verreweg het minste verblijf.

Cons:

Eten van de kaart kon, echter was niets beschikbaar. Mayo dat al was gebruikt werd op tafel gezet. Voorgerecht werd het nagerecht enzovoort.
Kamers prachtig groot maar echt aan een opknapbeurt toe. Kakkerlak in de badkamer. Veranda verrot. Bar bij het zwembad verlaten zitten een paar jonge binken die geen Engels spreken.

Fijn voor het zwembad en de gym maar helaas wel onderhoud/een opfrisbeurt nodig.

Fantastisch zwembad, goede gym en een uitgebreid ontbijt.

Cons:

Het hotel/resort heeft onderhoud nodig: in de speeltuin voor de kinderen zijn toestellen (oa de zipline) stuk en de toiletten bij de gym/het zwembad zijn verre van 5 sterren waardig. Ook had onze kamer ooit een buitendouche, maar die is inmiddels begroeid met lokale planten en niet meer te gebruiken.

Pros:

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka. The staff is amazing and they always greet you with a wide smile. Make sure you book the room with dinner and breakfast included as you’ll have to go all the way to Sigiriya (20 min from dambulla) to have dinner. We found it easier to stay back and have dinner buffet at the property itself.

Solved overbooking issue
Pros:

The hotel is in a very nice area, a bit far away from the main village. The room was clean and quiet, unlike what many reviews say. The breakfast buffet was good, but not memorable. The hotel was very busy with a large group of travellers. If it wasn't for Niroshaan, however, our stay would have been disastrous. He took good care of us after some initial problems. He's been the star of our stay, and did what he could to make up for the issues caused to us.

Cons:

I'm giving 9/10 as the hotel overbooked and initially lied to us. Unfortunately, they initially tried to scam us by claiming our payment didn't go through, that they were cancelling our reservation due to our fault, and then pressured us to change to a lower-category room. This is 1) against booking.com TOS; 2) caused major inconvenience, and forced me first to call my bank and booking.com (both denied my card was the problem), double check my credit card was working correctly, book another hotel as a backup, argue with the property, all just a few days before departure, and far away from home. Ultimately, after a lot of arguing, the hotel managed to find us a room. We found out they simply overbooked. However, I'd expect that if I didn't argue, our treatment would have been very bad. Only after insisting, and writing them bad reviews, they changed attitude. This is not how a fine establishment should operate, and I do hope the team in charge of managing bookings will improve: they should not lie to customers.
