If you need to be near the train station then this is the perfect hotel! Literally a few minutes from the exit. They were really accommodating with our late check in. The room was so spacious and super clean. Had all your necessary amenities and toiletries. Would definitely recommend. Only thing to note is that once you’ve been buzzed in make sure you go up to the 5th floor where the hotel is as there is no indicator or sign where to go once you’ve entered :)
If you don’t need to be near the train station it is slightlyyy further out than the historic centre for example. But is super close to transport links so just depends on your preference.

Ich wurde mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen empfangen und später genauso verabschiedet. Schönes, sauberes Zimmer in sehr guter Lage (Bahnhofsnähe). Leckere und warme Croissants zum Frühstück, eine romantische Sicht aus dem Fenster auf Palermo... es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, danke!
L'emplacement idéal près de la gare et de la station de bus et à 10' du marché Ballaro et 15' du centre.
On peut s'y rendre en train depuis l'aéroport.
Signora Maria was an excellent host!
She was incredibly kind, and thanks to her using a tablet to translate between English/Greek and Italian, our communication was flawless.
The location of Albergo Cavour is very central, just a short walk from the main train station and the city center.
The hotel is located on the 5th floor of a stunning, historic Sicilian building.
My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a traditional style!!
The only downside was a persistent, annoying noise (possibly a heat pump or laundry equipment) coming from the 4th floor for many hours of the day, which I found quite bothersome.

Great location and very spacious rooms. The location is excellent in terms of being very central, easy to walk everywhere and right next to the station. The owners were excellent and very accommodating, super kind! The breakfast was lovely and delivered to our room each morning without fail.
The location was sometimes a little sketchy but once you get used to it, it’s fine.
