Bedford Lodge Hotel.
Pros:

Great location. Lovely helpful staff. Good size bedroom. Ample parking with fast ev charging. Restaurant staff lovely. Food good.

Apart from dinner we enjoyed our stay and the staff were all very pleasant.
Pros:

The best part of this hotel was the staff who were very helpful. The bedroom was comfortable. The leisure area was a nice facility though we thought the tiles needed upgrading in the pool.

Cons:

Our biggest dislike was the size of the Main during dinner. We would both have had a main and dessert but had to have a discussion with staff regarding my meal. We know all about nouvelle cuisine but the portion of fish and samphire in a brown shrimp sauce (£36) that was given was extremely small. I was offered some extra vegetables (which did not come included) but my sauce was cold by the time they came. I then was offered more sauce but the whole thing took so long we decided not to have dessert. We did get a reduction on my meal but the episode means that we could not recommend the meal. My husband had lamb with cottage pie which was adequate but the amount of lamb was also very small and neither of us are big eaters!

Pros:

Breakfast was exceptional and very quick and friendly service. Michelle was amazing and the quality of food was superb. There was a very good choice from the hot breakfast options.

Perfect Newmarket base
Pros:

I’m biased as I got married here 18 years ago, but the hotel and grounds are beautiful.
What sets this place apart though is the genuine warmth and hospitality provided by the exceptional staff.

Beautiful property, excellent location, room was comfortable and very clean, fantastic and hardworking team at Bedford Lodge Hotel and Spa, great food!

Cons:

Would have been perfect to have children allowed in the pool til 12pm as 8-11am was not quite so relaxing to get up and have breakfast, go to the pool etc felt a-little rushed and no lie in.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AS ALWAYS

WE BOOKED A JUNIOR SUITE FOR TWO DAYS AND WAS UP GRADED TO A SUPERIOR JUNIOR SUITE, WHICH WAS LOVELY
